Currently playing Mirage and I easily prefer the action RPGās over the old school AC games so im hoping that Red is NOT the last one because if it goes back to what Mirage is, my hype for AC will definitely decrease.
I agree with @Klobrille as spreading out the games can fill out Game Pass for a year if not more while giving the games more time to shine on their own. I would probably add 2-4 games a month. 1-2 in the beginning and 1-2 in the middle every month so 2-4 a month.
Does anyone here own the Seagate 1TB expansion card for Series X/S? If so, can you store game save data on it or is it only for the full games? Thanks.
Game save data is stored on Xbox and automatically synced with the cloud.
No way to save it on the expansion card?
Nah, itās pretty much out of your control. Possibly a remnant of Online-only Xbox One plans.
Okay. Thanks. Appreciate the info.
I think this is a great take, even at 2-4 a month it would likely be 18+ months.
Game Pass is all about adding new subscribers while retaining the current members so spreading out the AB games would be a great way to accomplish that and is what they should have done with Bethesda. Any publisher that Microsoft acquires in the future should have their library/vault added on a monthly basis as itās just a better decision in my opinion.
I havenāt been on Xbox for about a month, now Iām back but where are deals with gold? Or did that change into Deals with Game Pass Ultimate and Core?
Thatās correct. Itās the same with a new name.
I wouldnāt be surprised if ever regulator jump on this instantly. This should be blocked.
Doubt it. It seems obvious that the RPG games have been much bigger successes for Ubisoft. There will continue to be games in the RPG formula after Red. (Apparently not Hexe which is something different from both Mirage and Valhalla.)
āLastā of the currently announced projects maybe, but not last ever.
I donāt see a reason why this would be blocked tbh. What is your concern?
Why? It would be like Warner Brothers buying Embracer. Nothing really wrong with it.
TBH this makes sense, transmedia is the way to go these days. Increases brand recognition and IP popularity.
As gamers we would get more games and the games would most likely be multiplatform (unlike the Insomniac games).
Iām all for it.
knew this would happen the second Iger hired Kevin Mayer as a consultant at Disney. The dude loves M&A and he was the one that suggested Iger to buy fox.
I hope this does not happen tho. The current Disney is very bad creatively and will probably turn EA into a marvel/star wars formulaic games factory.
I hope youāre right because Mirage is good but the forced stealth and whatnot was great 15 years ago but not so much today. I get those who love the old school AC games but I started with Black Flag and it never felt like stealth or anything was forced. You could do stealth effectively and when detected, just fight until you kill the enemies or they kill you. In Mirage, on hard, like 4 hits and im dead. UGH. lol
