I think it is directed to CMA who believed that subscriptions will take over everything and Sony will go with the wind (I would approve that).
I do think that the subscriptions will take over eventually though. But CMA doesn’t need to know that

Activision is already on board for $70 games. As is Xbox’s largest third party partner EA. $70 games were always inevitable. Now Xbox can sort of soften the blow when it’s timed with Activision becoming part of Xbox.

He’s not wrong. That’s where the major player comes in, which is Starfield. It’s like how streaming service start bringing out exclusive shows/movies.
Well, on Xbox they are also limited to the amount of consoles sold.

Yep. A lot of people here automatically assumed that releasing Halo and Forza would bump the gamepass numbers up to 30M but it doesn’t work like that.
You’re held hostage to the amount of platforms Gamepass is on when it comes to that sort of growth.
It’s also another reason why Xbox won’t give up on consoles like Sony fanboys love to say. It’s the number 1 driver for Gamepass and that isn’t changing any time soon.

They’ve only sold around 20m Series consoles and are currently between 25-30m GP subscribers, lets say they sell 80m consoles this gen, are we really expecting those extra 60m consoles aren’t going to bring quite a few subscribers in?
It’s much easier keeping people subscribed than it is first time subscribers, you need those big titles like Starfield to do that

Are there any examples of people getting banned for “taking a trip” to redeem Gold codes for the GPU conversion?
Hopefully avowed and inxiles game will be amazing so the wait for tes will feel like nothing.
Gotta love those narratives, one by one get taken down for only new ones to be built. I wonder what it would be this time, I assume they will revert to Xbox games are bad or meta scores. Another could be they’ll continue to say GP is going up in price now Phil said in future there will be price increases as if we all didn’t see that coming lol it was always going to go up like Netflix, Amazon Prime and every other thing.

Basically as soon as Xbox produces at least a single one third person narrative driven game that looks great (like Hellblade), it is over for Sony fanboys. Not a single argument to be used against Xbox.
