I want to play Indiana Jones but make it third person instead

If you have kids you’ll realize youtube is full of creators that use popular ip and use it without permission to make their own content. Youtube culture, meme culture, ai, it’s all potentially converging to make the so called metaverse.

Obviously stuff like advancement in Unreal engine and a.i are the drivers of making this a reality. Access to large data sets and who owns the rights to that content might get messy, but hey cant fight the future.

Fun fact: (To bring up Star Trek again) the movie Halloween used a captain Kirk mask for the killer.

Just have to “remix” and modify things and you can create something new and interesting.

This happened to me last year. I personally feel that it’s just an intermittent network problem and the various cache clearing tricks and workarounds that have been posted don’t actually do anything to solve it. It’s an issue on Microsoft’s end and they will fix it when they fix it.

My opinion, YMMV.

The Big Haul.

Makes me sad since I actually really liked Saints Row and it’s become their whipping boy now. I wonder if the promised DLC will even come out or they’ll cancel it somehow.

Cue angry “Preorder cancelled!” posts from people whose post history is full of them trashing the game.

I’ll wait until this is confirmed before sharpening my pitchfork and lighting my torch

That reminds me, I still have to buy some lol.

This has to be a mistake, because I don’t see any point in it and if they confirm it, it will be a shitty decision

Being an online only game, the disc would probably just be a 70mb installer. I think MS would rather do a digital only release but doesn’t want their AAA game to be absent from retail stores.

It’s a first party game, limiting one of your stellar games of the year to digital only leaves a lot to be desired from the company that has a lot of money and is acquiring yet another one. I don’t know if this decision comes from Bethesda or if there was a direct influence from Xbox. Deathloop had a physical release, so this must be a error or… one of the dumbest decision from them.

I’m sure it’s a mistake and I hope I’m completely wrong

No player or sales numbers shared even after 1 year of launch

This pretty much eliminates the ability to resale though, definitely a questionable move if true. Won’t impact me but they need a year of good games before they start pulling shenanigans.

Xbox is caring less and less about physical everyday and quite frankly so are most people in the xbox ecosystem

70-75% of xbox games are already digital and it’s only going to trend higher as more Series S are sold and I imagine MS will just point to GP if you want to play the game for cheap instead of used sales where they make nothing

Play Anywhere is also a neat addition that you won’t get with the disc version

I don’t mind it in a vacuum, but don’t pull this off with your second game release after a long ass drought and while trying to bring people to the platform. They should be after all of the good will they can get.

Lol I’m playing this now. Got it for Xmas

We know it sold like gangbusters because the Playstation guys keep telling us it charts on the NPD sales chart every month. Right?

Maybe they’ll say something after it’s stint on PlayStation Plus Premium service?

I wonder how AI will impact the price of developing AAA games moving forward. I feel like we are on the verge of the high point for development costs.

Tools like Houdini didn’t make games cheaper, it made them just bigger. The same will happen with AI tooling.
