I’m actually starting to think maybe this ABK deal is effecting announcements, it’s a bit weird Xbox not being at TGAs when they have for the past few years with big reveals, not only that but to come out and tease they have announcements soon and the rumoured show in Q1. Are they trying to hold everything back until the CMA and E.U. bring down their findings which both happen in March.
If they both look bad (the deal won’t go ahead), it won’t matter if they show a ton of staff after it and if it looks good it’ll be the same case.
I love the missions, all the home base and story stuff is real rough. Actual missions though kick ass, game plays great. Dialogue/writing are the d-tieriest thing I’ve ever seen, though.
SKipping the TGA makes a lot of sense if the rumored Q1 show is true. It’s time for Microsoft to create their own direct/state of play, so it make sense to hold back from announcing stuff at TGAs.
That doesn’t even count Grim Guardians, so that’s 5 (!!!) upcoming Inti games. If we go by recent Inti releases then all of them should be releasing on Xbox day 1 (in fact Gunvolt 3 Xbox was prioritized over GV3 PC and PS lol).
I’m still so happy that Xbox has gotten one of my favorite developers on board
It’s already above 12 million copies, there aren’t many Capcom games that have done above that, hell World might be the only one actually
Capcom in general doesn’t seem interested in moneyhats these days, their focus seems to be multiplatform which should be common sense for anyone wanting to grow their franchises
