I think it is more a matter of when, you don’t just make a big service lik that disappear without something to make up for it behind.

Both games are actually pretty solid. I will definitely play the first game to boost my Gamerscore. 1-2h for 1000g.
can we just sunset the service already because it has gotten much worse and offering less games

Because it’s still something people pay for so they feel obligated to do so
But its clear it’s something they want to move on from so they are stuck between continuing to bring games to the servce and wanting people to move on to GP so we get scraps
I really hope that surveyed GP tier becomes a reality because it would be a much better option than Gold’s current form

I think they’ll sunset service, but they will make a gamepass basic tier for people that want online play. I assume that tier will be that rumored ad based tier

PSA: You guys can just ignore the GwG news every month and/or not complain about it every month. 
Gold will continue to be a thing until they feel they can move on without losing Billions of dollars in revenue. They quite literally don’t care that some of you are underwhelmed with the free games.

Of course, but you see the news and react to them which I think is a perfectly normal thing. Gatekeeping peoples displeasure with a declining service they use is not something that has to be done every month either btw.
