Halo Infinite is kinda Far Cry no?
Microsoft has no lack of western games.
Yeah I really enjoyed Infinite my only complaint was itās too short.
Iām a big Fable fan so Iām expecting big things, just hope they keep the British humour.
Well, I think PS3 was also supported for quite some time. I mean Persona 5 was released in 2016 on PS3, despite PS4 launching in 2013 and thatās in the era without shortages.
They need some DLC and bring back some animals.

They donāt lack any western genre game. Not everything is the first party - naturally - but close to 95% games donāt skip Xbox.

Think this is incorrect as long as the competition is investing heavily in what is one of the biggest genres out there.

No thanks to Ubisoft, and I enjoy their games, but itās not something Microsoft needs imo. I rather Microsoft go for a studio instead of a publisher like Ubisoft. However, if you were to say Capcom then thatās a no doubt for me

Iām not seeing any FPS after Halo 
Wolf3 is probably not being made currently and Id still havenāt announced anything
But Iām referring to first party content whereas your referring to third party, if first party games didnāt matter then there wouldnāt be a need for different consoles in the first place.
If your someone who mainly enjoys playing single player action adventure games (cough Ubisoft games) your more likely to buy a PS5 over an Xbox because in addition to all the third party content you have Horizon, GoW, Ghost of Tsushima and Spider-Man etc.
The same argument now applies to FPS and RPG games, if thatās your favourite genre your are more likely to buy a Xbox over a PS5 (obviously both these arguments only apply if you want a console not a PC).
If Xbox could make some Ubisoft titles exclusive they may make the Xbox more appealing to the former audience too. Xbox obviously have some titles in production like Hellblade and Compulsions game but itās so far few and in-between if they are your favourite genre.

??? TR games did not skip Xbox, Ubisoft games did not skip Xbox etc.
That would be a sad state of affairs!
Hopefully Quake and Goldeneye is in development then we have Call of Duty joining the fold soon so we should still have a decent selection of FPS games.
They didnāt skip PlayStation either but PlayStation was able to offer even more games in this genre through their first party output.
As I mentioned above if that is one of the most popular genres people will buy a PS5 over an Xbox because they can get more of what they want through that platform.
Ultimately itās Xboxās job to entice customers regardless of what genre they enjoy. If they like those style of games and they can get all them plus more on a competitors product they will get that instead. They need to be offering their own to entice those same customers to their platform instead of the competing one. As a consumer you donāt want to feel you are missing out because you have to choose A or B.

Personally donāt care about CoD anymore and also itās not significant when it comes to single player like Halo, DOOM/Quake, Wolfenstein, Perfect Dark.
Because they were in middle of finishing large DLC and porting it to Switch and they opted to combine their marketing efforts to only after both were finished.

Microsoft lacks first and third party japanese content. Their western content - first and third party - is strong, and even in the third party they are different with PS in a couple of indie games. Fable, Compulsionās game, potentially Indiana Jones will cover third person genre. They might not have āmap completionist genreā for now, but Xbox does not lack them per se due to third parties.
I am pretty sure Id is making a game and a lot of third parties are making those games too. Some of the games are later in development but if nothing is coming out in 2023 (like COD being delayed for 2024), that would be funny

I feel like we had this conversation so many times and no one ends up being convinced. Iāll just say wait. I think this is too preemptive considering we donāt have full picture on most of the games announced or unannounced and in development.

No 3rd party makes anything near as good as DOOM and Wolfenstein in the FPS genre.
Decent selection of god-tier FPS IPās! so good! also isnāt Respawn supposedly working on a new FPS too? it might take some time but some FPS behemoths are coming our way!
