looks like the 4080 12gb is a rebranded 4070. They changed the name so the price didnt seem absurd. it has different specs than the 4080 16gb

Humble Games are killing it with cool variety of games. I have placed interest on this game since someone from Digital Foundry included it in their GOTY list even before full release

Iâve always hated this quote, especially given the fact that Xboxâs acquisitions have allowed for greater diversity and experimentation for projects that wouldnât have been greenlit by most other publishers (see Bleeding Edge and Grounded as just two examples). Iâd argue this quote is a bit of projection given the relative similarity in Sonyâs output over the last near-decade.

I HIGHLY doubt a game like Pentiment would exist without 1st party backing, if anything Game Pass will create more diverse games as the barrier is so low. I genuinely think a new game like Minecraft is going to be born because of Game Pass and the benefits of being backed by a trillion dollar company with a subscription service they probably hope to hit 50M users, not only that but want to reach all games on PC, consoles, mobile and anything practically with a internet connection and access to a browser.

The thing is, âconsolidation badâ isnât incorrect, itâs just that a consolidation of the gaming industry is really gonna be difficult, especially in the prospect of affecting creative output. Anything close to consolidation in gaming is NOT gonna entail corporates owning the means and foundations of it, constitutionally and infrastructurally like what happens in the film industry for example from entertainment, and the consolidation of internet and healthcare, and even the mobile and PC market being effective douopolies.
Game creation and publishing and monetization is very accessible and the competition is already stronger and more varied than most other consumer facing industries.

Nice performance, but still those prices for a graphic card are waaaay overpriced.
Fuck yeah!!! Best of all, they already have the assets and template for Iron Man via Anthem. Letâs go baby!!! Single player? Check. Third person? Check. Action adventure? Check. Hyped!!! Almost wish they didnât just announce this on Twitter and instead would have waited until they had a trailer ready to show. Still hyped!!!

Edit: also if 2-4x performance for the same price is just âNiceâ for you then there is no point to argue over this
Really good performances, but I agree the price is a letdown. I will keep what I have until they lower their prices.
Donât get me wrong, the performance of the cards are awesome, I wonât deny that, but the prices are too much for a graphic card, imo.
