Well, at that time (year ago) there were certainly two types of opinions - either GP is good or GP is bad. And GP is bad was a prevalent one. This year, we have more people supporting Game Pass because it seems like being a pro-consumer is kinda goodâŚFor consumer

Shawn seemed very old fashioned, and suggesting subscription are economically not viable for AAA games is BS considering streaming and subscription raised the bar tremendously for TV production and costs, if anything, itâs the other way around.
Whatâs her track record like? Going from Wikipedia, sheâs definitely had some pretty big/controversial whiffs.
Maybe Shawn was worried about diversification because he saw Sonyâs lineup

I think weâll see Outer Worlds 2 in the short term, before Avowed. Just a hunch.

Yeah exactly, and Outer Worlds is a shorter / smaller scoped game (as RPGs go) anyway. Whereas Avowed looks to be a Skyrim-sized game.
Avowed was in dev alongside ToW, pretty sure it was in development before MS even acquired them
Id say itâs extremely unlikely ToW2 releases first
Iâd want Obsidian to take some more time with TOW2 and not rush it out. I donât know what they intend for the game to be, but it was pretty clear that they were budget constrained.

I think there is some data (Linked In) to suggest that they got started with TOW2 as soon as the other game released in late 2019 so IF it is similar scope as the first game it probably isnât too far away.

After the few things Jez said about Avowed Iâm not so sure it will be Skyrim sized. Sponger did say it along with a lot of information but it remains to be seen if thatâs how it turns out.
Their trailer which also made fun of themselves did imply bigger everything. Iâm hoping that wasnât all meant as a joke or something though.
