There’s a difference between fans, fanboys and extremists. I put myself in between fans and fanboys depending on what it is. I’m a fanboy when it comes to Ubisoft and Sony’s first party games but even then, if a game isn’t up to par for me, I say so. If anything, it’s more the type of games they make that im a fanboy of.
Extremist though, I have never been that. I’m not smashing my console or sawing it in half. Fuck that. If a console isn’t for me (ala Switch), that shit simply gets traded in and I move on. lol

It’s real time this time. I gotta say though, don’t be intimidated by Echo Generation’d TB combat, I generally just don’t like TB combat but they actually made it quite easy to get into there, it was minimal and streamlined and I enjoyed it quite a lot.

Still worth for the “if it was this rough, image when they promised to release it back then?” look at Cyberpunk, goes even worse when it was told by devs that the management was actually pushing the game foward internally by a year at least.

Noticed “Series S” trending often recently on Twitter. Expected negativity/controversy or some secret dev said something, but the majority of posts I’m seeing are people who bought it and showing it off, talking about it. It’s really not just a great machine & value, but it’s also a very presentable and cute one, and I could see the appeal in showing it off lol

I have noticed that my trending topics are mainly positive right now, I can’t really remember the last time I saw a fanboy post unless someone retweets one. Perception has definitely changed.

I bet there was, I didn’t start looking on twitter till about 2020 so I think I missed most of it. It’s just annoying and useless. I also mute a lot of people too so that would make a difference.
