this just in: studio X developing #544 exclusive Xbox Series game and it is something that anyone can guess correctly but unexpected in some ways.
At least it set for some not all Xbox fans. Plus, it won’t be borderline crazy like “Xbox is buying Take Two.” At least that’s what I think. Bottom line, expectation is set and that’s something other fans need to learn.
I thought this was Space Marines 2 at first. But Darktide looks cool, very interesting that it’s no longer cross-gen.

It’s obvious Sony is attempting to push its stock price up. The Japan news cycle needed some positive stories about PlayStation sales. Sony was fine with neglecting Japan until the stock started falling. Xbox will have a Japan strategy of saving stock until a big game releases. Right now Xbox consoles are needed in America as MLB comes out next week.
Baseball is very popular in Japan tbf. Japan’s very own shotani ohtani is even the face of the game.

No, the big games chart there from time to time, but the problem is that those charts are physical anyway. But it is undeniable that Sony pushes more and more consoles in Japan, while keeping stock low in Europe.
I guess they want to ensure there are japanese games not skipping their platform as they cannot rely on PS4 forever.
Yeah, actually big japanese player is a face of MLB this year. Surprised Microsoft is not pushing more consoles there. Though I guess Switch will win and we will probably see MLB charting in Japan charts with PS4/PS5 sales.
