Actually I think thatās why getting ācoreā games is almost just as important as getting massive casual (sports, CoD) games. The fans of them are very loud and good at spreading positive word of mouth for whatever brand theyāre tied to. āHypeā helps with the āimageā of a platform. Itās not as irrelevant as you think.
Momentum is a thing with these types of games and Fall Guys has run out of it I think. Itāll get a decent playerbase but I donāt think itās gonna be huge again.

Maybe but even that is not ādeadā. Still think the game will do surprisingly well. Bet.
Keep an eye on Epic Games and Riot. Very interesting model of platform/publisher hybrid would like to see where they go with their games and IP. I think they will be much bigger than they already are.
The news cycle is very short and constantly after the next news story.

We even discussed it today. First party is not ready to carry Game Pass yet, so whatās important is that strong third party support is a priority. If thatās the case weāll see in June.
Iām suprised people even mention acquisitions because nobody in their right mind would say that isnāt being aggressive.

IMO if Xbox had more events than just the single E3 season show per year it wouldnāt be like this. They have to stop being so silent. I know weāre about to get one, then things should change. Hopefully that doesnāt mean needing to wait another full year for an Xbox event
Sony does mediocre State of Plays but at least they exist. Nintendo has their Directs as well. Xbox should make sure they are always relevant in the āmindshareā.

A local MS representative I spoke with once said they donāt have the average wage ceilings that some other big tech have but their employee benefits are some of the best. Donāt know if regional MS offices follow the same HQ standards though.
If you go in outside world (in a a lot of countries) you would think that there is only Switch, Playstation while Game Pass does not exist.
I donāt think so but we will see. History shows that most of the time you canāt step in the same river twice.
I mean Xbox had momentum until it stopped doing big things.

No one is currently interested in the game, and even Sony who always brags about the sales of their games , has not announced how much did the game sell , And this also applies to Gran Turismo 7
I understand the frustration of some people about games delayed . And I know these games will come no matter how late they are . But act like xbox doomed is nonsense
Exclusive games are a factor of success but its not everything , Especially when the reality says Xbox sells better than previous generations despite of not having huge releases for now

But it was due to huge ass Elden Ring destroying Horizonās momentum (granted Horizon by itself is not really an outstanding game). Horizon could not be used in favor of Playstation to Elden Ring completely dominating the news cycle.

Where I live, itās mostly Playstation and some PC. Xbox and Switch are almost nothing. Actually, Xbox has a little more exposure than the Switch.
Well, Sony is updating their service and they start with some pretty strong games like AC Valhalla, RDR2 and Ghost. When Game Pass launched for the first time Iām not sure it had titles of that level. I think for Sony this is only the beginning and we were just discussing how we hope this wonāt mean bad news for us, those that would like older AAA games on the service a bit more often.
We all know Xbox is buying big companies and these games become theirs but unfortunately we havenāt seen much of it yet and sadly wonāt anytime soon either. Once that does happen itās going to be great times for Xbox(GP) owners. Until then we hope they bring some big stuff to the service. If big stuff is planned thereās no better place than during their show.
