There’s nothing worse that could happen to Xbox than what already happened in the Xbox One generation, so I simply disagree. Xbox soon will have control over one of the very few IPs that have the potential of influencing the market significantly.
If bloodborne was multiplat it wouldnt have the hype
Still cant play that game native 60fps. Horrific
For some reason exclusive games generate more online buzz than multiplat games but in the real world it does not really matter.
Fortnite and other online games are more talked about in real life than majority of exclusive titles.
Psst, ask Phil to be on xcloud.
I think some people still won’t feel good unless Xbox “wins,” sells more consoles and dominates while Sony struggles. If not that, then at least some elements of that.
I get that in ways what Sony does can take away games from us with money hats. But pretending Xbox doesn’t achieve something similar with acquisitions, probably worse because it’s “forever”, is hypocrite.
Not surprise since Epic got them. Glad I’ll be getting to play it soon finally lol
Id take BGS games alone over every single moneyhat Sony have made
Now add the rest of Zenimax and hopefully lots of teams from ABK to that
Would be a smart move and probably inevitable, they’ve already done it with Fortnite, Rocket League and Fall Guys are probably next
People’s worries will wash away once Xbox hits their cadence. I get that people are frustrated, nobody wants a drought like this to happen again and it probably won’t happen ever again.
Just gotta get through the year.
At least xbox buys companies. They own them. Do what they want. If sony bought SE. I wouldnt bother asing for FF games on xbox.
I mean, according to some on this forum, Microsoft adding a $70 AAA game like Back4Blood at launch on Game Pass isn’t aggressive, but already, Shadow Warrior 3 on Ps Now is.
Hell, ABK purchase is beyond aggressive but if one under million seller franchise isn’t on the platform, not enough.
lol. unfortunately people overreact whenever sony does anything remotely positive with doomposting.
Oh the confusopoly
Honestly the industry looks so damn healthy it’s incredible. The variety of games, and quality imo are at their peak. The fact that many great and innovative games can be made by anyone now is so cool. The ease of entry and access across hardware, monetization models (f2p), delivery channels (subscriptions, cloud) games generally get better discounts, etc.
Anyone dwelling on the negatives or tells you the industry is worse now is just either miserable and wants to drag you into their misery or is blinded by nostalgia.
It’s dead. It’s like giving a kid a fidget spinner in 2022.
If you were just in the internet bubble, you would think that every Remey game sold over 15 million, but the reality is very different from that.
