Yeah, looks pretty solid. And it will become better with time due to addition of other games.

If Sony started Day 1 releases, it would be a huge competitor to Game Pass. Granted it won’t be as convenient as Game Pass with Play Anywhere and cloud saves. But on console it is not a bad offering.

Funny thing is: Ubi announced Ubi+ coming to Xbox back in January and we stil haven’t got a date nor exactly what it will be about. Now, Ubi announces Ubi+ coming to PS in less then 2 weeks and Classics will be part of PS+ 2nd/3rd tier.

I wonder if it was the announcement for E3 show, but Sony decided to steal the thunder.

Or maybe Sony indeed negotiated exclusivity like for example EA Play is a part of Game Pass, while EA Play is a separate thing on Playstation. I wonder if EA Play is coming too PS+ tiers too.

All in all, it seems PS+ tiered service is gonna be a solid offering. (Granted it is confusing what tier what offers have. Game Pass is much easier in that regard).

Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 are already on Xbox. And if these rumors are true, Xbox will even have the better versions!

But it seems the remake of 2 by Bloober is the timed exclusive and the one Dusk was talking about is by Kojima. And if Sony is involved there…bet on it being full exclusive. We have no idea about the third project yet.

Valhalla, RDR2 and Ghost ? Those are some damn strong titles, older ones but that is fine. That’s the kind of stuff I wish for Game Pass, the first two of course . And this is how they launch the updated service? Not bad at all. Would not surprise me now if they start to deliver more older AAA every month.

The PS plus list is fine, the classic game selection looks pretty mediocre though. I wouldn’t pay for the highest tier if I was on PS+

One funny thing is that there were a bunch of doomers on Twitter saying Sony was gonna stockpile a whole bunch of Japanese games on it because Xbox struggles with those and make sure Xbox can’t get any more on GP. Now that we see the list, GP has more JP games… Noticably more. Lol.

I do think with this service rolling out now Xbox is gonna have to up the budget for third party games on GP, extremely important in first party dry spells like this one.

Yeah, Sony is much more aggressive in the third party space which is not great for Game Pass. Especially since first party cannot carry the service anytime soon.

Xbox basically revolves around Game Pass. The console is Game Pass. That’s not the case with PS+

So it’s my expectation that Xbox will be paying a lot more than Sony for big additions. At least I hope that’s how it’s gonna go down.
