She’s gone, going to bury her next to her puppyhood romance at my wife’s sister’s house. Acre of land and a beautiful spot. Thank you for all the replies everyone, she was an incredible part of our family.

I’m so sorry, Jesse. It sounds like she’ll have a perfect place for her final rest. I only saw and heard her a few times on stream but she seemed like a great dog. Take care of yourself and the rest of the family, and she will always live on in your memories and never really be gone.

It’s been said by everyone else but just to add sorry for your loss.
It sounds weird but the thought of losing an animal/someone losing a close pet is the one thing that instantly makes me tear up. I guess its life in general but on one hand the companionship and loyalty they bring is absolutely amazing but the flipside is It’s heartbreaking when you have to say goodbye to them. I’m dreading the day i say bye to my girl.

I wish we could make a deal that our lovely dogs live just as long as we do. As soon as our time has come it’s for the dog as well. They are such magnificent souls, but they sadly don’t often go past 20.

Loss is a difficult thing to go through. Im sure you gave your goodest girl the best life she could have ever lived. Rest in peace to Luna and condolences to you and your family.
