Well, it leaked. This is my own screenshot. I’m playing Duke Nukem Forever 2001.

The skeleton for what could have been an extremely amazing game is here. The movement is really good. The weapon arsenal is huge. The enemies are fun to fight.

There is a shitload of maps… Majority of them are not finished. No enemies on a lot of them (though a lot of enemies do exist in the game files and on several more finished maps), placeholder stuff everywhere, you get the drill. There is 18 chapters in the game and a lot of them have around 5 maps, so this game was gonna be pretty damn long.

Basically anything you saw in that old trailer is the most polished part of the leak. So there’s working vehicle sections and stuff. Here is a working turret section

This is open source. Modders can (and probably will) jump on this and make it a finished game. Seems most if not every map is there already and just needs serious sprucing up. I think taking some stuff/ideas and voice lines from the 2011 game can make this happen.

It’s really interesting to see how similar, and how changed the campaign is compared to the final game. There is a lot of stuff in here that ended up in Duke Nukem Forever 2011’s DLC Campaign even.

I love how Xbox can go from the laughing stock of the gaming industry, has no games, Halo Gears Forza and now they’re a monopoly, going to crush Playstation to the point they go out of business and everyone suddenly forgets about the Playstation baggers just because of Game Pass. Give me a break. All this because of a new payment method and a few acquisitions in the space of a few years, talk about whiplash.
I would also like to mention no one was worried about when Xbox was almost shut down because of all the Sony deals and marketing.

Fuck this weather man.
This morning as soon as I walked out the door I felt it would be one of those days again. It was barely 20 degrees and it already felt like a goddamn greenhouse, the humidity was absolutely bullshit. How can it be that we have days where it’s the exact same degrees or even higher and it still feels great? Where is this humidity/warm air coming from?
Seriously, I’d rather have 30 degrees here where it’s just hot, but stay in the shadows and it’s fine, instead of humidity, fuck.
Same struggles. Where I’m living wasn’t humid, like, at all before. Suddenly these past two years it started getting humid. That’s my nightmare of a weather. Man, the whole climate has actually already started showing signs of change it’s so scary
That’s the goddamn truth.
It’s a shame because if it’s just nice and sunny outside, with a cool, pleasant breeze it’s absolutely perfect. Now I go for brief walks with my dog because it tires us both out like crazy, sigh. Hopefully some of those pleasant sunny days await us, because if this is an indication of the summer…no thank you.
The fact that Saints Row isn’t getting somehwat milked is kind of insane to me. I went back to Saints Row 2 yesterday and it plays just as good as the day it released. It’s a great franchise and I’m extremely surprised how long its taken Volition to release any new games.

I live in the North East Ohio region. We have always had Humidity to contend with as the weather fronts come across Lake Erie. It’s always been miserable at times. At times it could be upper 60s F but crazy humidty levels so its unbearable to be outside. In the past it could be 90s F but tolerable in the shade when no humidity. The past few years the weather has been more miserable than normal. It also always rains on garbage day and on the weekends. The past week the temps are swinging so wide, needing to have the heat on at night and the AC on during the day, because you cant have the windows open during the day as there’s little breeze and the pollen counts is off the charts.
Combat looks terrible to me
Yeah, kinda junky. Not fluid enough during fighting - unlike Spider-man. And during shooting it is not fluid enough in comparison to Harry Potter.
