It’s been close to 11 years since I played this game for the first time and there still hasn’t been a game that made feel like it. Right from the trailer I knew it was something different. The music, the atmosphere, the themes, the streets of Detroit at night, sneaking through vents, hacking, reading emails, figuring out different routes and play styles. I never knew video games could be like that, it was truly a transformative experience for me. I hope this series can now be that good again.

MS is doing a great job getting this to a lot of countries, this sort of thing would be crazy hard to do with all the finance stuff in each of these countries.

Funny enough for me, I never heard of Deus Ex before until the year MK:D came out and what they did which was very smart was put Deus Ex: HR on Games with Gold. I redeemed it like with every game and usually don’t play them but got bored one time and downloaded it and played the crap out of it and absolutely loved it to bits. I loved it that much from that free copy from GwG that I preordered MK:D on the same day I completed HR.
I loved MD unlike most and for the first time ever in a game for me I spent like 1 hour in a single building finding all the nooks and crannies inside I think it was a bank or some sort of tech lab or something near the start of the game. I literally lost track of time in that one building lol and it wasn’t even where I was suppose to be and later in the game it was a mission to go in there but because I had unlocked stuff it was super easy for the mission.
I hope Perfect Dark is sorta like Deus Ex honestly, or at least MS makes some sort of game like this.
