The Japanese game problem has been solved
Haha, yeahâŚ
Now I wonderâŚcould this perhaps be the big one rumored by Greg Miller? Although Grubb later said it was bigger than Kojima, but wouldnât you sayâŚmuch, much bigger when itâs Ubi vs Kojima in terms of how big of a deal it is?
I get the feeling the acquisition they were discussing there was much further along than any Ubisoft acquisition could be at this stage. I mean, this seems REAL early. Still, I guess we know slightly more than we did before about the Sony rumoured acquisition if we can rule out Ubisoft.
Doubt it. They had also recently listed some hedge funds that were interested and no mention of Sony. And if it was the Sony one I bet everyoneâs lips would immediately get looser
I donât think so.
I wonder if it is possible to purchase IPs from Ubisoft if it is in collapsing state. Or buy it partially - after all certain Ubisoft studios make certain Ubisoft games.
Kind of surprised there has been no mention of an Amazon in the discussion for buyers
Because I suspect that Amazon hasnât decided yet regarding gaming. But Ubisoft would be fit them quite nicely. But due to internal issues I have no idea who is willing to fix the company there.
It crazy to think that within a couple of years we saw the collapse of
- Bethesda
- Activision
- Ubisoft
and Square Enix is going to join them sooner or later
Some truly great IP there but they need new life.
Amazon has only dipped their toes in.
WaitâŚyou guys do thisâŚMANUALLY?! o.O My GOD! its looks awesome!! Would you do one of my boy Rhadan?
I bought a Series S a couple of days ago for my bedroom. It arrived from Amazon today. The only thing in the box was the actual Series S. No controller, no HDMI cable, no power cord. The box appeared to factory sealed.
Amazon refunded me $75 so I could replace the parts myself without having to return anything. I didnât need another controller or HDMI - just the $8 power cable. So it actually turned out to be a good deal for me. Ha.
Iâm talking with some people on Twitter now and they are saying that the rumor was also that it was a Japanese company that Sony was going after. I said that Grubb nor Miller never said this but he said some other source with the same kind of connections as them heard this. But he doesnât remember anymore who it was. Its really all just hearsay. I donât follow every âinsiderâ though.
But if Amazon were to acquire a big one, they will likely keep those games for themselves? For their streaming service, they donât have a console of their own. Ideally they just ship the game to Xbox and PSâŚ
They will continue to release the games on PC and they will integrate Ubisoft+ into Luna (not a separate channel like right now). Anything else is up in the air.
No thatâs false, Grubb nor Miller said anything about the supposed acquisition being japanese, those are just hearsays fanboys started spreading to fulfill their delusions.
We do have a Radahn model but gotta be mindful of our limited time. Got more than 100 pot boys sold in under 3 weeks and they are still selling fairly well. Gonna do Tree Sentinel next and then might do others too. Including Radahn for sure.
Keep in mind these arenât gonna be cheap tho (likely in the ballpark of $150 due to us having to handpaint them).
Maybe Sony is going to acquire the new studio(s) that was formed by former Sony Japan Studio Developers after they were let go with their last downsizing?
Joe Miller from Twitter? That guy is a delusional Sony lunatic. He makes shit up constantly. That guy can be ignored.
Nah, we mean Greg Miller from Kinda Funny.
