XboxEra Community Hangout |OT7| Define "AAAA"

Which is ironic considering that all of them are clearly hostile to Microsoft in every opportunity.

Ammo is scarce are 3 words that tell me I am not going to enjoy this game.

They really should do this yeah. Show that two can play this game. It’s not official yet, but the fact that the dev only mentions PS5 for Project Eve is just strange. I can’t lie, I want to see the Xbox go back to its more aggressive ways like back when with Oddworld, it was a PS2 announced exclusive, Xbox became a thing and then…it was a Xbox exclusive, lol.

Before anyone goes…“Xbox bought Zenimax and ABK, how’s that for aggressive?”

I mean Xbox bothering with making AAA third party timed deals again because it seems Sony’s not slowing down.

Very interested in Project Eve. It’s the result of a one night stand between Dante and Bayonetta. lol

As for Sony having timed exclusivity for it, who knows but I wouldn’t be shocked if they do.

I gotta say it’s good to see some YouTubers, in this case Destin, acknowledging errors. Although I didn’t think his ABK video was all that bad.

Yeah I disagree, I thought that video showed a real lack of self awareness with Dustin and was embarrassed for him.

:joy:

Interesting that Xbox got first person game in similar style, while Sony went after third person game

I haven’t seen his videos, so I will have to go with that Destin himself is saying, but I am glad he acknowledges that pumping out videos for the algorithm will inevitably lower the quality bar. Especially recently, when let’s admit it, not much has been happening on the news front.

Which game?

I forgot. It launched in Game Pass as far as I recall, it was a shooter with some fast movement mechanics and some fighting against warriors with guns and swords.

Bright Infinite something like that lol

Bright Memory: Infinite

P.S. it seems it did not launch in Game Pass

Bright Memory is the $8 prologue. It’s not in Game Pass. Bright Memory Infinite is the full game which released on Steam last November. Xbox Series should be this November.

Ok, whatever. Confusing  So it was released on PC only for now.

Bright Memory prologue is on Steam and Xbox Series. Infinite is Steam only for now.

It’s been a while since we heard about Wukong, but it wouldn’t surprise me at all to see Sony locking that down. They never mentioned specifically which platforms, but they did say next gen consoles. But for now it’s all speculation, including Project Eve. There haven’t been any rumors yet that this turned into a (timed) exclusive.

Yeah, it seems like Sony is going after various chinese and korean (to a lesser degree) third person games trying to lock them down.
