Developers complained about the shit cpu last generation and still delivered, now they can’t even port these games with 4k60FPS on XSX and PS5 despite the huge leap, but XSS is the problem right?

This is what I was gonna post, Metro Exodus runs on Series S with GI RT at 60fps too.
Also something that I don’t get about DF is why they are still trying to come to conclusions this early (still cross-gen phase) about what the current gen systems can or can’t do, IIRC Alex around the launch of the systems said that with those GPU specs GI RT is out of the question and then a few months later the incredible team at 4A (which we should give more credit with the amazing things those guys are doing technically on consoles since the first Metro on the 360) released the current gen patch and proved him wrong.
So what’s the hurry and what is the actual benefit of doing predictions like “Series S is not gonna do well with RT” when we all know (even the less informed like me) that it is too early to judge anything…I seriously don’t get it.

Absolutely.
My right bumper on my elite v2 doesn’t register very well these days, and apparently to replace the button requires soddering. It’ll take a lot for MS to convince me to buy another elite controller tbh.
I got the elite 2 as well, my “solution” if you can call it that, to it’s issues is to not use it on all games. I only use it on apex halo and cod basically.
Even then, the little switch for one of the trigger stops broke, it’s cover kinda came off, and one back paddle came defective out the box, thankfully I only use two. I’ll be honest though, it is a dream to use, but the next “pro” controller I go for is probably gonna be the wolverine v2 chroma, since the TE and the ultimate don’t exist anymore where I live.
Also for any hope you might have about a reliable future version, it’s unfortunately very unlikely, since the main problem with controllers is stick drift, which can’t be fixed because literally everyone uses the same component for the analogues which has a limited use threshold, plus the more features a controller has, the more likely stuff is to break, look at the new ps controller.
You’re almost certainly right. I never had a problem with drifting on any Xbox controllers so it didn’t occur to me that this blight will remain commonplace for the foreseeable future. I was under the impression any issues the DualSense had were due to the resistance triggers (which never made sense to me), is the haptic aspect causing any issues, as far as you know?
Just watched this. Very interested in the game. The combat is souls like but when you die, I don’t believe that you lose what you gained but I could be wrong on this. Either way, im very interested as Spiders won me over with Greedfall back in 2019.

But there are a lot of strange speculation sometimes like for example saw a podcast recently where people assumed that Sony’s investment in Epic, means exclusive modes and marketing for Playstation in Fortnite…“Sony is getting more with less” completely disregarding whatever transpired with ATVI deal.
I have raised this question in the past, but there is always that strange feeling of doubt regarding whatever Microsoft is doing for some reason. And if they do something good - it always never enough. While when folks are talking about Playstation, even a minor thing or rumor leads to sky high expectations and 100% belief even if there is not history or indication of those expectations to be close to reality.

I’m pretty sure it has bad stick drift issues as well. Some point in 2021 I was plagued with articles complaining about dualsense controllers drifting, even remember something about a lawsuit but I doubt anything came out of that. Literally every company has that problem, but what can you do, controllers are considered consumables, they are not a permanent thing, sooner or later they break.

Them deciding to make a souls-like game with Steelrising instead of another tradition RPG is such a gut punch for me, but that’s just how it goes sometimes.
