XboxEra Community Hangout |OT6| New Year, Same Three Topics

Oh I fully expect Sony to have marketing rights at the least, maybe have a discount only on PS5 at launch, none of that I would care much for, but things like timed exclusivity is hopefully something out of the question. And if such a thing were to happen, then MS especially should do all they can to prevent that.

Not gonna happen for GTA6

Hopefully Xbox goes all in in marketing by the time Activision Blizzard is part of the family. They can draw so many attention with their lineup.

Even thinking that that could happen shows the level of unwarranted(IMO) paranoid that people have about what Sony can do. Sure there will still be moneyhatts and skips, but some of the hypotheticals are too much.

I always say…never say never.

But I can’t imagine the kind of money Take Two would ask from Sony for even timed exclusivity.

I don’t think it’ll happen, but there was a rumor about it a year or two ago.

I’m currently all in on Steam, and its partially because It’s a library where I can have PlayStation Studios and Xbox Game Studios titles sitting next to each other.

My library has grown dramatically to the point where I’m not worried about renewing Game Pass. I’ve currently got 415 games on Steam, there are 409 titles available on PC Game Pass. I need 34 more titles to beat the amount of titles available on console Game Pass.

I’ve gotten almost every game I want to own from Xbox Game Studios | Bethesda through 3rd party key stores over the years and I tend to feel less pressured to game when I own games rather than pay for Game Pass. I think this is a better value overall, but if you’re a little more casual or have a small library of owned games, you can’t beat game pass.

I’d say that a majority of my friends now game on Steam these days, and I’m looking forward to one day picking up a Steam deck.

You have to buy games on Steam, not on GP. Not everyone can buy every game they like.

I know, but MS is deaf from that ear concerning EU, so at least having COD attached to Xbox through ownership and GP is the best we can hope.

I own about 350 games on Xbox, not including demos or or games I got through game pass or gold, including them it would be 512. Still on game pass because I know new games from both first and third party, will be dropping day one or months later meaning I don’t have to take any real risk on a game being something I can’t play for whatever reason.

Yeah, open world sells.

Aside being a good game, it shows how important are media and influencers in marketing the game. When each and every toaster talks about the game, it is gonna sell bonkers.

Just finished season 2 of Better call Saul. It’s not with many shows that I go for a second watch, let alone a third but this is my third rewatch of the seasons and it’s still as strong as ever.

What Iove so fucking much in this show is that there aren’t really any typical bad or good guys, it’s not that black and white. Well, maybe except for

Tuco. I mean shit, he’s awesome but doesn’t have any real redeeming qualities about him, lol. But when it comes to Jimmy, the dude cares, he has a good heart. But like Kim says, he became the way he is because of Chuck. Now I don’t 100% agree with that because Jimmy’s ways started back at his father’s shop.

Because of him their father lost the store, and died a few months later. I don’t think we should blame Jimmy for his death though. But in the cold open we also see that Chuck just can’t tell Jimmy what their mother’s last words were. I understand Jimmy, and I understand Chuck. I root for Jimmy, and I felt sad when Chuck hit his head in that copy store.

And Kim…what a woman. If a man has a lady like her on his side…consider yourself extremely fortunate.

Then we got awesome ass Mike and that side story with some new and old characters from BB in there.

What a show.

Next week I’ll rewatch S3 again.

Reactions are hilarious to be honest. It’s filled with ā€œIf you’re in the opposite side, this is what you feel.ā€ I have nothing against him, but I can imagine fear has returned in them.

He must have already missed the buzz of playing top level competitive sports. It’s an issue quite a lot of athletes suffer when they retire, as for them competing in front of huge crowds is a literal drug for them, and that is to say nothing about the way of life suddenly changes drastically.

whaaaaat?

Shorter first retirement than MJ.

I mean i like it, this guy is legendary.

It never felt like he wanted to retire, but Arians is such a clown that I bet he had to be coaxed to come back.

UGH. At this point, Brady will never retire. Has a supermodel wife and kids yet he wants to play football at 45 years old or whatever the hell he is. SMH.

As a 49ers fan, I hope, wish and pray that my team stays away from him.

Not sure if this has already been posted but Halo and Forza have won a few more awards, as did my GOTY - It Takes Two.
