It’s a horrible practice. I can’t trust a single Sony review moving forward as a result. And who even knows what other shady practices they have. Are they secretly running some of the websites or paying people off? Idk, but I do already know they’re unethical based on this and can’t rule it out.

Sony really moneyhatted… this? I figured so, it was on State of Play before when it actually looked good… Money well spent? 
This is obviously going to bomb, and I don’t have much hope for Forspoken which was also moneyhatted, reception to the gameplay trailer seemed middling at best. Wonder how these bombs will affect Sony throwing money around because with these it’s starting to look like they do it kinda carelessly.
I’ve seen some people say, on this very forum even, that Sony only moneyhats good Square games and “lets” all the bad ones stay multiplat. Lol…

It’s a great number for GT, the series hasn’t been in form since the PS3 days imo, this one feels like a comeback.

Why we will be mad? Sure it’s not 90+ but I’m certainly fine with that. Though I do wonder what would happen to fans if GoWR doesn’t score 90+. The world would implode I’m guessing.
Because people have propped up the idea of only 90+ games mattering and it’s always for fanboy list war garbage
It got amplified massively the last few years though, due to Sony’s first party becoming so popular last gen with TLOU and GoW getting such high numbers
Now they’ve been programmed into thinking everything should hit those numbers or they can’t use it for their crappy wars, im convinced these people dont even actually play the games they brag about

I arrived late but I did hear about it. It was really odd. Elden Ring made it worse.
Microsoft rewards will have limited time quest where you get 3000-6000 points for buying games during release window . They had one recently for elden ring
Edit: yeah you can use points to buy anything on Xbox or Microsoft store
