…uch toxicity on Twitter from certain individuals that just need to chill down a bit. These employees at first party Xbox and PlayStation studios 100% have friends who work at different studios and its just weird how some people attack Insomniac, Sony Santa Monica, 343 industries, The Coalition etc. only for them to cheer it on when a new LinkedIn employee from the competitors 1st party competition joins their favorite 1st party studio. It creepy how online gamers fanboy over platform holders. I think it would be a smart thing to see more collaborative podcasts between Xbox podcasters and PlayStation podcasters just to realize how similar we are all…tbh I think most of us love 1st party games for the same reason. We like to see ambitious video games, let’s talk about what we all love…together

It’s so late reports, Sony has been monitoring Middle East markets long time ago, since 2014 they’ve been showing a lot of interest, system got full localization, 1st Party games gots full Arabic Sub/Dub even they renamed some of their characters such “Knack” to “Shattir” , Ratchet to “Rashid” … In Summer 2015, Jim Ryan confirmed that’s KSA was in the 2nd place after USA in console sales in one week of that Summer. He also confirmed that whenever he talks to 3rd Party publishers he said to them look at PS4 numbers on Middle East markets and think seriously on localize your games, it will serve your sales …

I think MS is culprit for its overlooking of EU and partially for Asia/Japan (where cultural divide plays a role alongside their middling efforts), but in middle-east it’s really tough for a huge american corp with army contracts to make a splash, objectively.
