PGR was great but I really dont think they need yet another racing franchise, maybe if Forza becomes a platform rather than the usual sequels like before they could bring it back

I think thats where it started and then moved onto Doom lol
I can’t imagine that a great deal of time or effort is being spent in rebooting Twisted Metal in 2021 even WITH a TV show coming.

I hope they do. Was always one of the few reasons to buy a PS for me. Pretty much FF, Twisted Metal, Ratchet, and GOW. Modern day graphics, movement and destruction would be epic for twisted metal.
Edit: Also Uncharted, love that series.

An even better idea for Metacritic is to do what I have said for years - ELIMINATE the user score. Problem solved. As for critics, that would be tough because since they’re playing review codes pre-release, it may not always register.
Very happy about this. Lucid isn’t any good and it seems that London Studio will be developing the Twisted Metal reboot. I wish they would remake the original but I know it’s going to be an online game. Meh.

Been talking to a buddy of mine about E3 and how it seems to be just going away. And he said it’s horrible, and sure it’s especially bad news for media that attended it and general visitors but for us at home that always watch these press conferences live…is it really all that different?
I mean Sony hasn’t had a stage show for a while, same for Nintendo, but Xbox could just have a stage show if they wanted I’m sure. And Geoff will just do his SGF in the summer.
It’ll probably release similar to Sea of Thieves and be heavily improved over time, depending on whose working on it and if Sony doesn’t drop it early.
It’s important for PlayStation, Nintendo and Xbox to have a healthy first party release schedule. It’s not healthy to be happy at the expense of other gamers dissatisfaction just because you own a console from a competitor.
PlayStation and Xbox aren’t two different political parties or sports teams. First party teams are made up from talented individuals who happen to have friends and fellow ex-coworkers between different companies. Lately I’ve seen so much toxicity on Twitter from certain individuals that just need to chill down a bit.
These employees at first party Xbox and PlayStation studios 100% have friends who work at different studios and its just weird how some people attack Insomniac, Sony Santa Monica, 343 industries, The Coalition etc. only for them to cheer it on when a new LinkedIn employee from the competitors 1st party competition joins their favorite 1st party studio.
It creepy how online gamers fanboy over platform holders. I think it would be a smart thing to see more collaborative podcasts between Xbox podcasters and PlayStation podcasters just to realize how similar we are all…tbh I think most of us love 1st party games for the same reason.
We like to see ambitious video games, let’s talk about what we all love…together
