I just picked up Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze for my Nintendo Switch, let’s see what all the hypes about.

He probably means something like Minecraft, which had very humble origins.
Something like Among Us.
Among Us was out on PC/Mobile for over a year before streaming skyrocketed the game into the stratosphere.
Game was made by like a handful of devs.
Games usually don’t start out being a “Big game”. Think Fortnite, GTA, Minecraft, etc.
That’s certainly true. GTA back in the day was definitely small.
As for the next big game starting small, chances are it will be a online/MP game I bet.

I gotta say I’m really curious to see what this game is.
That’s what I love about this industry, we really won’t know until it happens. If you had told me back when it was first shown that Fortnite would become the biggest game in the world, I would have laughed and questioned your sanity.
