Dishonored 2 was revealed in a trailer at E3 2015. Gameplay at E3 2016. Released in the fall of that year.

Games, especially Bethesda games, release their big marking push towards release.

Hmmm, I forgot about Dishonored 2. But I recall it was different for Deathloop. But not 100% sure about that. Assuming we get to see it no sooner than June, a possible September release could still be considered summer. But who knows, it might release just outside of summer.

How they spent 12B in 2021, imo the full Xbox operation didn’t cost that much (with 16B of revenue). VR is that big of a moneysink?

Time distorts your memory, but you are 100% correct. Deathloop is most certainly the outlier and that is caused by the delay but also the fact Sony probably asked for it for their numerous showcases.

Yeah, but Xbox could show more than the usual CGI announcement-gameplay trailer-launch trailer sequence they do for 99% of their games. FH5 was the outlier.

Arkane always does reveal trailer then a year later gameplay. Prey is another example.

Listen, covid is a thing. Redfall could be delayed. However, I fully expect a huge reveal at this years xbox event and an extended look at quakecon.

It is one of my most hyped games this year. Borderlands with vampires and Arkane magic.

So far, everything explicitly stated by both Bungie and SIE points to the former being an entity completely independent from PS studios. Everyone can assume what they want but until we see the results, I’m going to assume what will happen is what they literally said in the press releases.

yes xbox will get D2 expansions, but i don’t think new IP will hit xbox. we would see though
