I also thought that, but Bungie blogpost specifically said “competing platforms”. Then it can obviously be pr fluff, both Sony and Bungie are no stranger to lies and/or obfuscating truth, I remember pr the mumbo jumbos about the horrible Destiny locked stuff. XD

No, from what I've seen all around the internet, everyone agrees that this is a completely different deal to the ones before it, one in which seems bungie dictated the agreements. So yeah, better wait and see but as of now I'm going with what both parties literally stated. This isn't a "non statement" like the ones Phil did/does, this is them explicitly telling what what's going to happen.
Actually, come to think of it, the fact people are thinking otherwise stem from many lies from Sony. Make sense to me.

All kinds of game sales numbers here too.
Love my Switch for Nintendo games and niche Japanese games, but sometimes for the latter the ports are just so bad I have to play on my PC instead. I’m really hoping Switch 2 can match the PS4 Pro at least.
Oh, and add an achievement system next time!

If this remake (that has been received worse than the others mentioned there) sold 14 mill, I’m expecting Legends Arceus which is much better and an important shift in direction to easily be another 20+ million seller.
I’m just stunned. Imagine selling 14 million copies and still being the 9th best selling first party game on the console. Like MS and Sony fucking wished they could pull off that kinda shit

I still don’t get how Sony is not able to manage to turn their market share advantage into some real profit. Only around 10% profit margin is nothing (and it was even below that for a long time under Shawn Layden). Look at Nintendo. They are so much better at making money and they don’t collect 30% of billions of FIFA and CoD microtransactions.
So MS re-surpassed Nintendo? I wonder how pople will spin that. Also if you add-up Xbox+Activision, they are on par with Sony PS.
probably Nintendo didn’t sell NS at loss and this thing still 299 lol, most of their games sell plus 10 millions copies nearing 20 millions.
not to mention Nintendo game budget is not really that huge compared to AAA Games.
Nintendo sells cheap hardware, their games cost shit compared to modern AAA and their services are crap. That’s enough to justify the profit delta? XD
