I’ve been waiting since launch for them to fix it. So far, no dice. It wasn’t a problem with Tails of Iron or with Chorus, but some of these bigger games become a massive headache when the disc download is 50gb, and then the series x update is another 70gb.

that’s a lot of pressure to keep up with as Inside was my game of the generation and I doubt the LN games “surpass in every way” lol but alright, I’ll give them a try soon.

It will be a shame to play those awesome games with such expectations. Hyperbole like “surpass in every way” (like surpassing Inside is an easy thing) is seriously unnecessary.

Personally I love all 4 games from those devs so I try to not declare winners.

Saved up those money from past PS+ titles for delivering these. Granted, they’re old-ish but it’s a lot better than a demo within the service…

Glad to have helped! I’ve been stuck with it since a week after launch - it didn’t start out this way. Sometimes my discs don’t do it either, but I’d say 90% of my games I end up doing this workaround. Either way, if it works now then we’re all good!

Not really, hehe. STALKER 2 could be nice, I’ll check it out since it’s on Game Pass for sure. Horizon Forbidden West is something I will play eventually, but I’ll wait for some sort of complete edition like I did with the first game. Other than that, it’s nothing really until Starfield.

Stalker 2 is day one via Game Pass for me. Love the Metro series so im looking forward to seeing what the original creators do. HFW is obviously day one for me. But I also have Dying Light 2, Elden Ring, Crossfire X campaign, Sifu, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands and 10+ more games that im expecting in 2022.

You only having 2, maybe 3 games at most in what will be one of the best years ever in gaming for 2022 is mind boggling to me.

precisely. But I will definitely give these games a fair try without trying too much to gage them in a comparative lens, I’ve heard some excellent things about LN2 in particular. Any game that has that one moment where you go “woaaah did I just experience that?”, I want in on it haha.

I have zero expectations for STALKER 2 considering most of the original STALKER team left to form 4A and make Metro.

For data install from discs - if the game is a Series X game, I’ve found I have to install the disc while offline (or else it tries to upgrade the series X version before the game has installed and it goes into a permanent failed loop). Once installed, hop online, run the update.

This. Never ever install a disc based game while being online.

Agreed. For me, it’s the big two and a shit ton of multi-platform games. lol. Even the few games im expecting to get delayed to 2023, 2022 will still be one of the best years in gaming.

I’m very hyped!!! And it all kicks off with Dying Light 2 which im super hyped for as it looks great and the combat look to finally be at a great or better level.

Yeah definitely check both games out, they are really great games. Can’t wait to see Tarsier’s next project (maybe a 3D one this time around?), they are crazy talented.

Both PS+ and GwG are ass, people consider these to be a good month, at least for ps+ and im like

I claim all GwG games but I think the only one iv downloaded and played in the last maybe 3 or 4 years is Celeste, everything else has been GamePass games

I mean if Microsoft had the choice between giving out that Immortals Fenyx Rising for GwG or getting Dying Light 2 Day 1 on GamePass, I think we all know which one to choose.
