good. But also those deals can happen a lot closer to launch, so itās not entirely out the window, but it is at least good to see as of now there has not been any weird moneyhat already being made. One thing is 100% that is I donāt think itāll be permanent exclusive to anything.
btw is Zhuge saying ānopeā to
āis there any truth to thatā
or
āis it baselessā
lol
I hope Xbox does everything in their power to make sure it comes to Xbox. And if there ends up being exclusivity for PS5 letās just hope it will be a few months and a year max. Around the time of release Xbox will have plenty of their own, it softens the pain, lol.
it could get deathlooped
Ah ok, anyway I still donāt get the hype for the game, it could be the classic tech demo without much substance like the chinese shooter Xbox has exclusivity with. Itās true Xbox has issues in Asia with many developers, so until itās out exclusivity should not be ruled out.
I mean, Sony wanted Starfield, just for context, even bigger than Deathloop. Imagine 2022 Sony had not just Horizon and God of War but ended it with Starfield, while being published by Bethesda and Xbox.
yikes . I dont even want to think about that lol
They have Ghostwire unfortunately enough, I feel Zenimax acquisition saved Xbox from a huge damage, Sony was trying to deal a critical hit to the brand, fortunately enough Phil is not āniceā as many here would want him to be. XD
Yeah, good question, haha. Sadly the person didnāt ask him that. But I expect Huge meant thereās no truth to it.
Sekiro + God of War + Journey to the West
Thatās all thatās needed for the hype, and itās not just some random ass vaporware, but Epic and Nvidia are also helping fund it. They didnāt just show one demo and go away into oblivion, they showed a second demo and it was even more impressive than the first. And you can clearly see a strong base of art direction, writing and music already taking shape. Wouldnāt be worth it to just end up being vaporware. Of course doesnāt mean we shouldnāt be more cautious with the hype, but that is a given with any hyped game these days lol
Weāll see, NVIDIA funds many chinese games because they are good for their tech showcases, but gameplay wise, meh, this one is not the first. Iād wait before making comparison with seasoned and proved developers.
This is just annoying. Bamco really passing up Xbox with their .hack port but happily giving us their arguably even more niche drumming rhythm game
Looks like im finally getting my Witcher 3 killer!! Crimson Desert looks amazing!! Hope they add an on/off option though for the motion blur and camera shake because that crap is bad.
Black Myth Wukong looks great. I wouldnāt be surprised if itās a timed console exclusive for Sony but I donāt see it being a full exclusive as itās meant to be a three game trilogy so in my opinion, at worst, you may have to wait a year unless of course, you own a PS5 by then which means that you wonāt have to wait.
Black Myth Wukong thus far has been the most impressive game I have seen for the current generation. Best of all, they started it 15 months ago with a 12 minute or so gameplay trailer showing everyone how it should be done. Needless to say, im super hyped for Wukong. Day freaking one!!!
Funnily enough, some Taiko no Tatsujin games can be found within Yakuza games. XD
Anyway, when Bamco games donāt land on Xbox itās on devs who have no relationships (or even bad ones) with Xbox. Remember Level-5 games (Ni no Kuni), the .hack series, the recent Tsubasa game, etcā¦imo they donāt force their devs hands into making Xbox ports. Anyway itās strange because CyberConnect2 has a decent relationship with Xbox, so IDKā¦
The plan is still to get a PS5 this console generation, but I said the same with last gen and ended up never getting a PS4. I honestly think I have all I need with XSX and Game Pass. So itās basically not a need, but itās something I donāt want to miss out on, the great exclusives on PS5, that is.
So weāll see what happens around the time this comes out.
Wince Zampella
And regarding Marcusā Seattle Studio working on Battlefield, well, it will be a more story focused game, and Marcus was creative lead of Halo Reach and that is one of the most well regarded stories in the Halo franchise, so I wouldnāt be as bothered by it. Sure itās unfortunate that itās not a new IP, but thereās nothing stopping a game in the Battlefield franchise to still do something new and innovative both narratively and gameplay-wise, itās not like the franchise has never had it. This would allow for the mainline to focus on these big wild maps and sandbox while campaigns can be made in the universe that are strong and self-contained in their own ways.
