If you liked BG1 and haven’t played BG2 yet, you’re in for a treat. It really improved upon the first game with the characters and interactions.
I mean, nothing is impossible. but on the day Square wants to be acquired, sony or MS or tencent etc. they will be there giving their offer.
Of course there is. It’s very simple: “How stupid are our customers? -About this stupid, price accordingly.” Nintendo can sell cardboard to their insane fanbase so they know they can get away with anything. I really, really don’t get these people, but to each their own I guess.
Of course, they will not spend 18 billion on SIE, but it is foolish enough to think that Sony does not want to leave its most successful division as successful, if not more. Therefore, even more serious investments than before are quite possible. Hulst bought more studios in two months than they did in ten years. Microsoft and Tencent have shown that it will not be as easy this time, so Sony wants to show that they are ready to fight
P.s: Shinobi602 retweeted this article. Pretty funny
Funny how old news is going around again.
I can definitely see Sony acquiring or trying to acquire some big ones in the (near)future, but won’t ultimately the highest bidder win? Of course if it’s going to be about Square Enix I guess anything can happen. But that’s nothing more than speculation.
Did Shinobi say anything about it or just a retweet?
Gamepass is responsible for yet another game’s success
Steady growth in game’s player base since launch
Both on Xbox and Steam
Great news. This should help developers all around the world hopefully taking GP more seriously and be there day one or like four months after launch.
When we can ear anything?
Just a retweet
During the podcast I assume
when is it?
The hint was in there all along…killer rumour mill, haha.
Minecraft thing on with 665K viewers on youtube and 0 tweets from the Xbox Twitter account about it.
Sometime today. I don’t watch live and not sure how consistent they are with timing.
They retweeted it and XboxWire made a blog post about it?
I for one have never ever said that acquisitions were bad for the industry and when it comes to Microsoft and Sony, I want them to buy more publishers and/or development studios because it’s better for me. Still hoping that Microsoft acquires WB Games and all of DC as well as Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal. For Sony, I hope they acquire Ember Lab and they should try to acquire Square Enix as they’re a perfect fit for Sony.
Either way, give me MORE acquisitions baby!!!
Don’t really see a reason for Sony to acquire Square Enix outside of preventing someone else from acquiring them. They already lock up most of the big games as (timed) exclusives.
I hope we get a release date for Gotham Knights today. Also looking forward to that the batman trailer
