I do but Ive cleared my backlog of anything that I want to engage in (aside from fps boost Andromeda or Dishonored 2 and next gen Cyberpunk) and there isnt anything on gamepass that I care for. Like I legit every day scroll between game pass and my digital collection just looking at stuff and not wanting to play any of it. On PS5 unless I decide to buy Deathloop its gonna be collecting dust till Horizon cause Im sleep on Kena.

Kena is real good. My impressions are in the PS5 OT if you’re interested. My PS5 will have about 2 weeks of activity. LOL. Kena followed by FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch, The Takeover (PS4 beat em up) and possibly the Yuffie DLC for FFVIIR since I owned the game and found out today that the PS5 upgrade is free so I would only have to pay for the DLC but I haven’t decided on that yet. I should be able to get through all of that by October 7th when Far Cry 6 releases which I will be playing on Series X.

What’s your next 2021 release? If it’s a ways off, maybe you should start looking at your backlogged games that you don’t want to engage in. Maybe one or two will surprise you and keep you busy until your next new release.

Gotta say I’m a little jelly of people that can play Kena now, ever since they revealed it I loved the look of it. Same with Stray and Sifu, they all look very interesting and especially Stray looks unique too. To me it seems that Sony went with the “right” ones when it comes to some of these indie games.

Kena is a indie title, but visually you could have fooled me if it was said a AAA studio made it. We got some great indie titles on Xbox as well, but visually none of them coming close to Kena. We’ve also had quite a few indie titles dropping on Game Pass that for me personally just don’t do anything. But that’s just how it is. Hopefully all of them will make their way to X eventually.

Kena looks absolutely stunning especially on my LG CX OLED. And im playing in Performance Mode which isn’t even Native 4K and still looks amazing. I’m interested in Sifu too but it’s rogue like which turns me off. Not sure about Stray or Sifu but Kena is a timed console exclusive. I have no idea how long that exclusivity is for though.

Tbh, Death’s Door is my current GOTY, Xbox has a massive w having gotten that as a launch exclusive. Although I’m excited to play Kena, I don’t think is gonna come close, but I’m open to it. I think both Xbox and Sony have been investing in indies heavily, but that’s been always true for Xbox, playstation is trying to get better on that front which is objectively a good thing. Pathless, Chicory, F.I.S.T, Kena, Stray, Sifu, etc. That’s a good lineup.

Kena is great thus far. FIST looks like a hidden gem. Those other indies look good too. Also, The Ascent looks great which I need to get to. Both sides have been doing good with Indies.

Don’t know if it’s considered an Indie or an AA game but Bright Memory Infinite looks amazing and is still set for November. There’s a Playism (who’s publishing the game) showcase this Saturday and Bright Memory Infinite is the game that’s being spotlighted so we should get a new trailer and hopefully a release date.

As for Kena, I just love the look of it, especially those visuals man. For Xbox I really want to play a game that looks visually amazing, FH5 is coming soon, so that’s great. But so far not a whole lot of games have visually wowed me, MSFS of course but it’s not something I play much, honestly uninstalled it because I really needed the space.

AC Valhalla had its moments but I’m absolutely in need of a game that is great to play and also looks fantastic. It’s coming, but the wait is real, for something from the new studios.

Yeah, Kena is a gorgeous game. I know exactly what you mean by wanting to play a visually amazing game but also plays as great as it looks. If you haven’t played AC Odyssey, I think it looks easily better than Valhalla and runs smooth on Series X.

Review | Necromunda: Hired Gun (Updated Sept. 21st) - XboxEra

If you notice that on the home page I"m happy that (even though it took 3 months) that Necromunda: Hired Gun’s performance and aiming has finally been fixed on console. My score has been updated from a 4.0 to a 7/0 since the game overall was solid outside of it being completely broken on Xbox.

We need a thread for Age of Empires. I am fully expecting Age of Mythology remastered and Age of Mythology new version in the next two years. I am not sure whether Forgotten Kingdoms will do the remaster, as they were Empire specialists.

Such an amazing game, easily still the best of the three games.

I remember how years ago I didn’t bother with it at all, until I was at a buddy’s place and he was playing it. He couldn’t get past the demon in Undead Burg, but this motivated me to try it at home and I defeated it, and once Capra Demon was gone I was unable to drop the game…hooked as hell.

That year was great with games like Skyrim and Dark Souls but for me absolutely beyond horrible too because in April of that year my father passed away. It’s crazy it’s ten years already.
