Yep. That is definitely someone who feels a corporation owes them something, even though the game is going to be the most expensive that Xbox has ever produced and you can play it for the low price of a monthly sub if you want to.
I donât watch Coltâs videos, but if heâs having guests like Dreamcastguy and that Alex dude I donât think Iâm missing much.
Even more sus is that this is a post from early 2019
Edit: Could be Bethesda and Starfield, or Bethesda and something else
Not sure what weâre looking at here?
what if?
star=starfield aka Beth buy out.
Square =Square Enix means???
but seriously I have no clue, just nick being cryptic
This is nice, wonder how big it will be on XSX.
Someone said they saw 40 GB in the store, but I only see 10.1 Meg placeholder on the web store and when I looked on the console all it was around 375 Meg or 285 Meg placeholders for the two different editions.
Yeah he claims to want to leave the console war stuff in his past, but some of these guests SCREAM otherwise
Plus hearing they were carrying on about delaying Halo and yeah this would be a really tough listen. I know itâs still fairly recent but the way some youtubers go on about it, it feels like theyâre far less concerned about the game and much more looking for drama related clicks. And without hearing Colt and his guestâs take on it, I would bet that is whatâs going on there as well
Another case of we dont know if its the famous Kraken or that the Xbox version packages all the X|S versions together.
Even looking solely at the PlayStation versions, if the sizes they specified are installation sizes, the difference between 37.201GB and 57.247GB could be elimination of duplicate assets. On last gen systems they duplicate a good portion of assets to spread them across the hard drive in order to have lower latency access to them regardless of where the hard drive read head is at.
Or this could be download size only. I think they also have situations where they have smaller download sizes but then playable game installation size is larger on the drive. So more compression on the download or some post installation routine that produces the final install image. I donât really know what theyâre doing in that situation.
I just think if it was some super mysterious compression system at work that we would had gotten some dozen articles and videos no? Just my thought.
I needed to scan something this morning for work so I set up the new scanner/printer.
HP now makes you sign into an account you create to scan something.
Fuck off.
Gotta be honest. I enjoyed Alan Wake back in the day, but feel itâs getting some serious rose tinted nostalgia induced praise right now
Alan Wake was always a very good game that had a lot of potential, the main drawbacks were the lacking enemy variety and a lack of interesting combat scenarios (though this was definitely improved in the expansions and especially The Writer) but had a very cool story, beautiful visuals that still hold up amazingly well (and now it will look amazing at 4K and I assume 60fps+) and amazing atmosphere. Alan Wake 2 could turn out really awesome if they improve the weapon/enemy variety plus the game will look absolutely bonkers on current gen.
With no trailer though, I wonder if itâs at the Showcase with a possible timed exclusive Alan Wake PS5 tease with some form of timed exclusivity.
Timed exclusivity on the remaster or AW2? because I donât see Sony paying for exclusivity for a remasterâŚAW2 is still possible though for sure.
AW2.
But EGS already has a exclusivity deal for the game, so Sony would have had to contact Remedy or the publisher for that? Not sure how that would work but it would suck, letâs not worry too much about it yet though.
I can see Sony moneyhatting AW2 as well as Bioshock and Playdeadâs next game if the rumor about them wanting to get some form of timed exclusivity on studios/IPâs associated with Xbox.
Epic is publishing and funding the game so a deal with Sony for a year or so is not something that itâs gonna be weird. Releasing the game on the PS5 on consoles and Epic Store on PC could be the deal.
