Horrifying.
This is just a problem in general on this side of the continent and the linguering effects of Colonialism for like 500 years (especially from the Caribbean and down). These old generations cannot fathom a government that doesnt try to control its citizens and lives using religion as the basis of everything.
They love criticizing other religions but they do the same over here just using Christianity instead ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Im Puertorrican so I have a rather peculiar relationship with the Americans and I just think both sides of their politics are insane.

Texas is a conservative ticking-time bomb of liability that I hope Microsoft does something about to protect the reproductive rights and health of their workers against this stupidity.
Arkane Austing, ID are all based in Texas, and I can’t imagine it’s easy for them to try and attract new talent when the selling point is “Come to our state! It’s a hellhole of COVID, Handmaid’s Tale style abortion laws, and nonsense laws trying to ban Facebook and Google because we think they are censoring conversatives.”
Not exactly a strong pitch to convince people to work on Doom or Redfall.

Is it too much to ask to keep politics off the forum? Politics has infused all walks of like (at least in the U.S.) The absolute last place I want to see it is on an Xbox forum where I come to get away from all that…

most politics yes, really obvious ones like this? it’s fine once in a while. The amount of things that are stuck under the “politics” umbrella instead of the “human decency” one is ridiculous.

Checked out Colts XNC podcast which is usually decent but man… Some of the takes. This Alex guy showing full gamer entitlement saying Campaign for Infinite should be free if they’re not releasing it as a “full halo experience” with coop and forge. Like what the hell.

Starting to lose a bit of respect for Colt tbh, he’s turning into a drama channel getting weird guests on, that’s not saying people can’t speak in a negative light of Xbox but when they start comparing Halo and CP2077 because they both had a limited edition console… yeah what a stupid thought.
Incomplete product because co-op and forge isn’t there so it should be free or cheaper? we’re not talking about a co-op only game missing co-op at launch and them shoehorning in a single player element last minute. Some people have such stupid takes it hurts my brain.
