With deving a game for Xbox now including a PC version + cloud that could access 100’s of million devices it’s going to make less financial sense to skip the Xbox platform. MS is trying to make it hard to skip Xbox by giving devs more cash (on PC) back, making 1 version work as 3 and just Xbox in general not doing crappy things like forcing devs pay for crossplay. It’s going to be sooner rather than later when the higher ups get grilled, they will have to put it on Xbox platforms because if investors see them skipping that many customers they will ask questions.

24 hours later… the Microsoft rewards app on Xbox is still crashing.
Ive spent 2 months saying Microsoft should work with NISA to get their games into xbox but oh well.
Dont know why anyone here would expect Trails to come to xbox right now.
It’s been very spotty for me as well, I figured it was just me but seems like its a wider issue.

I would guess this number to be maybe a 10% boast for PS5. Something that still puts Xbox numbers in the same ballpark.
So you honestly think that Microsoft is making fewer Xbox’s because they are worried they won’t sell? Look if you think that in the future then fine, but if we are talking about right now and deep into next year then I think you need to reevaluate your opinion. They would not be doing that when every console manufactured is a guaranteed sale.

I wouldn’t be concerned about how many PS5 are sold.
That business model will put sony in a lot of trouble by the end of this generation.
They’ll be lucky if they are above Nintendo by 2030.

And yet there seems to be little acknowledgment that both companies will be tied well into next year. It’s the common miss information that PS5 is millions of consoles ahead that confuses me. I mean both consoles instantly sellout, that is indisputable. The exact numbers are irrelevant because knowing only that bit of information it’s easy to see they must be tied or close to it.
It would be great if Xbox support actually acknowledged the issue… lol
There is no indication that they are tied at all. Both are selling out but Im pretty sure the PS5 has a “decent sized” lead due to simple production and having a bigger market reach than xbox.
if the ps5 doesn’t outsell the xbox by a 2:1 margin i would consider it a failure.

Production issues could be a reason for PS5 having more sold at this point. It’s just that second point I have a big problem accepting . Ps5 market share means nothing right now. Again Microsoft isn’t going to reduce their production because they are worried about unsold consoles. I’m not sure why so many people believe that.
