Wow, can’t believe they didn’t have any idea what Vanguard would be like …
At long last, the game disappeared from the world after the open beta last summer.
I don’t get it…
Sorry, I occasionally feel compelled to stick the proverbial knife in when I see an ACG tweet.
During the Cyberpunk launch some chud furious that Polygon would dare mention CDPR’s blatant and continued transphobia and would “wait for a real review without tranny shit no one cares about like ACG’s”
ACG replied “It is coming”.
Oh, I had no idea. Not a great look…
Demo incoming. Can’t say I like moneyhatting demos. Hopefully this is part of a bigger Game Pass deal (fingers crossed). Either way, I’ll give this a go.
On GAF too, so happy to tacitly agree that Polygon’s review was worthless because of the publisher bigotry, and to agree that no one cares about trans shit, and do it there for the purpose of growing his brand.
I only cared since I had ACG on my list of “reviewers” to watch.
As I’ve said to @OneBadMutha before, which I hope he thinks is still the case, I won’t dictate that he should be banned for anyone, as long as I am allowed to stick the boot in as a reminder now and then.
Rest assured the game won’t still make decent use of Xbox hardware, lmao.
Well you managed to enlighten one person today at least! I usually watch ACG as I like the review structure, and I had no idea.
I still feel pretty confident that Scarlett Nexus and Tales of Arise got a Gamepass deal.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart hands-off previews -
This shit looks fucking insane!!! An easy 9/10 minimum for me incoming and I wouldn’t be shocked or surprised to see Rift Apart win my 2021 game of the year!!! Oh man!!! Four weeks away from this coming Friday!!! Can’t wait!!! Whoooo!!!
We seem to be doing growing just fine without the clickbait and false-narrative-negativity here at XboxEra
Looks like Ratchet to me. I played the last one when I got it free, was ok for a few hours then I just left it.
Clearly I was speaking about major outlets, considering the person I spoke with is from one of the biggest site in my country.
Though I dont love the structure where you “split up” a piece of content to its components to review, I did like that he spent some time discussing sound and music, which many reviewers seem to miss. I had a collection of reviewers even some I didnt agree with a lot of the time just to get a nice idea of a game, so I did watch his often.
It’s just something that I don’t think I could put up with, it was something he did purely to build his brand, on a toxic site and tacitly agree with the notion in that message. That speaks volumes as to his character, and last I checked (last time this came up) it still remained so despite feedback (which I know he got) he still stands by what he wrote and the implication it gives.
And youtube and streaming was meant to be the cure to old fashioned “controlled” entertainment. And yet without any checks it ends up so full of people who are awful or unable to take responsibility for their actions or for those they hurt.
[edit] sorry sorry sorry, that was my chance at a quick “toeing” I didnt mean to derail with a good old fashioned rant
I mean, yeah it looks amazing (massive props to Insomniac), but if it feels like the same exact Ratchet I’ve been playing for nearly 20 years I’ll pass. I went back to Crack in Time recently because I never finished it… and was promptly reminded why: the forced “zanyness” and same old basic TPS collactethon. Maybe I’m just over those types of games now as I’ve gotten older, but meh.
Oh that wasn’t directed at you, but the person who told you that.
Yeah, I agree with you that you can do well even without stupid clickbait articles, but it’s more difficult.
Thanks for articulating my thoughts better than “it looks like Ratchet”. These early gen exclusives on all sides are getting hyped to hell it seems. Did it myself with the Medium which I basically couldn’t play because I hate games that move like that.
