Imagine thinking that playground after hiring 100 people to work on an rpg, decide to put them on forza horizon.
I literally pointed out to the guy that playground said their forza studio only had room for 145 people. Then pointed out to the guy that by mid 2019 they where passing 200 employeeās after hirring tons of people with rpg and unreal engine expertise and he still said⦠nope they havenāt started on fable⦠it was only an idea.
After specifically hiring people for 3 years for the RPG team.
I very much agree that they will both be out within a year of each other. I think avowed is late 2022-early 2023 and fable is early- late 2023. I also think perfect dark is mid 2023-early 2024.
I think everyone should take a look at timelines people like grubb or klobrille agree with, jez too.
hmmm i think for rest of 2021
2022
2023
2024
Fable (50/50 on this one it could hit 2023)
FH Next
Perfect Dark
SOD 3
as for Inxile RPG game and Indiana jones in 2024-2026
worth to note i foused on XGS only and games funded by xbox, for non XGS games
2021
2022
also to note i focused on big games or games got higher attraction xbox as usual will have indies like every year
2023 for Stalker?
Didnāt it not get a initial release date of 2021.
No, i donāt think so.
I see Stalker 2 and Warhammer Darktide as both being 2022. I do see The Ascent though this summer.
It seems it did⦠but they later removed it.

yeah than itās not 2021 title but we might get new trailer this E3 if not Trailer this fall
I have the poster on ignore.
I wonder how Scornās development is going⦠that 13 minute gameplay clip last year was pretty polished.
MS are not going to launch so many RPGs in the same timeframes. If Starfield hits next year, Avowed will be 2023. Itās a marketing cycle, they want to avoid cannibalization, and to give each RPG itās own space.
Agree with this.
i agree i think for the big dogs RPGs release one in every year.
Now if the RPG is different that it will different story
letās say JRPG and WRPG very possible in same year, different audience target and play style
Yup. Launching two western RPGs in the same year or month is overkill and commercial suicide. MS will want to grow them as well
PG have to contend with developing Forza Horizon 5, hiring for that team, theyāve had to create a new studio for Fable, and hire for that team, they have to develop each game, in a covid ravaged country, this is what I factor when I look at this studio.
My conclusion is Iām not expecting games from them this year or next
Commercial suicide⦠lol.
When you have 20+ studios, which is only set to increase, thereās going to be eventual overlap in terms of IPās.
Starfield early 2022, Avowed late 2022⦠would contribute to a absolutely massive year for Xbox.
This is one thing game pass needs is a constant flow of games lol. If they drop in the same year some few months apart who cares.
Microsoft isnt gonna fill an arbitrary quota of āoops we cant drop Avowed this year in October cause Fable dropped in Marchā. Okay.
Also the Playground topic idk how many times this forum has to explain it to Hindle but thats beating a dead horse at this point.
Or better yetā¦Starfield in March 2022, Fable in November 2022 and Avowed in March 2023.
