So much of Halo came from Marathon. A Marathon game based on Halo would basically be full circle and something many would buy off the bat. Frankly I should be surprised that they didn’t do that but I’m not . The Bungie that made Halo great hasn’t existed for a long time!

I don’t remember reading or heading him mention remake, only “final fantasy”. Just to be safe, assume it’s 16 and maybe pixel remasters before getting your hopes up based on what the internet likes to say about Jez’s quotes (they get it wrong, all the time)

Square Enix is shutting down Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, another mobile game. Seems like they’re narrowing down all mobile games to one or two that’s good. That or leaving market entirely. They’re bleeding money, so I suppose this is the right move.
In all honesty, this is probably the issue. Nothing against you at all but finding sanity in that place is difficult.
Not a rant : the online discourse is so bad right now that I’m tempted in buying video games magazines again (for those that are still printed).
At least there’s this place right here, but we are as vulnerable as everyone else to online grifters and clout chasers. I’m so tuned out to leakers and rumors these days, waiting for actual announcements instead.
