XboxEra Community Hangout |OT13| The Bakers Dozen

I used to be against them from that angle but have changed my feelings since learning that they basically exist as a hiring tool for projects

Yeah, that’s not to dump on these practices. These trailers have their purpose, like hiring talent, but they are mostly made for the general audience.

I don’t mind them as it can get my attention and make me want to know more about it.

With Tencent a large portion of their audience is in China, where PS5’s exist and Xbox’s do not and most likely never will.

Damn, then I guess we can count ourselves lucky when they do ship a game for Xbox. Don’t they publish Crimson Desert too?

It depends on the game and where they think it will sell.

No they don’t Crimson Desert is Pearl Abyss which is a south Korean publisher and developer. Also O wouldn’t put much stake in the light of Motiram thing, they announced PS5 for PR in my opinion. In my opinion when the game is close to release you will suddenly hear an Xbox version.

I just picked up Tales of Kenzara and now debating Prince of Persia. Now you’re getting me to consider this one lol

Yep it really looks cool but I’m still gonna watch some more about it because the Sonic 3D inspiration doesn’t encourage me, I wish there was a demo to try.

And speaking of those two… oh man, I still have them in my backlog, I just wanted to let myself miss metroidvanias a little before playing them. Man, anyone who’s complaining about not having good games to play, I don’t know but it must be miserable, I’m having too good stuff much to play for the little time we have :sob:

Very much looking forward to The Witcher IV!!! Really hoping that Ciri is the main protagonist.

Bought this a week ago on Xbox for $10 as it’s on sale for Black Friday. Planning to start it this Sunday and complete it before Indiana Jones releases.

Τhere was a demo available close to launch but I don’t know if it’s still available. About the game I was hyped for it before launch but I ended up disliking the demo, even though I love the genre I didn’t vibe with this game at all. :man_shrugging:

Replaying Metro Exodus after Stalker… Eastern European shooters just hit different.

Exodus is one of the most immersive games I’ve ever played. Was tense and and on edge throughout the whole game without it feeling frustrating. Looks and sounds insane too. Very underrated.

Hi guys. I am back to PC gaming, this time with a Lenovo laptop.

It feels insane to be able to play games like Wukong or Space Marine 2 at this quality on a portable device.

I mean, you can paly them on actual portable devices, it’s insane what is capable to be played now on small devices.

Isn’t it nice to be liberated from worrying about platform crap? Can just enjoy games for what they are.

I achieve this by not going on gaming websites and social media

Yeah but I said at this quality for a reason. You can’t achieve it in handheld PCs.
