Yeah, it’s pretty accurate. It’s like perfume or car ads, it’s about selling you a feeling, a mood or an atmosphere and not about the product itself which can be hard to describe or quite banal.

I used to be against them from that angle but have changed my feelings since learning that they basically exist as a hiring tool for projects

Yeah, that’s not to dump on these practices. These trailers have their purpose, like hiring talent, but they are mostly made for the general audience.

I don’t mind them as it can get my attention and make me want to know more about it.

So the Horizon clone is coming to PS5 as well, not Xbox. Personally I’m like…ah well.

That being said, i hope they have a good reason that they skip Xbox, such as small team or whatever, otherwise it shouldn’t skip it. Won’t lose any sleep over it though.

With Tencent a large portion of their audience is in China, where PS5’s exist and Xbox’s do not and most likely never will.

No they don’t Crimson Desert is Pearl Abyss which is a south Korean publisher and developer. Also O wouldn’t put much stake in the light of Motiram thing, they announced PS5 for PR in my opinion. In my opinion when the game is close to release you will suddenly hear an Xbox version.

Yep it really looks cool but I’m still gonna watch some more about it because the Sonic 3D inspiration doesn’t encourage me, I wish there was a demo to try.

And speaking of those two… oh man, I still have them in my backlog, I just wanted to let myself miss metroidvanias a little before playing them. Man, anyone who’s complaining about not having good games to play, I don’t know but it must be miserable, I’m having too good stuff much to play for the little time we have

I just picked up Tales of Kenzara

Bought this a week ago on Xbox for $10 as it’s on sale for Black Friday. Planning to start it this Sunday and complete it before Indiana Jones releases.

Τhere was a demo available close to launch but I don’t know if it’s still available. About the game I was hyped for it before launch but I ended up disliking the demo, even though I love the genre I didn’t vibe with this game at all.

Exodus is one of the most immersive games I’ve ever played. Was tense and and on edge throughout the whole game without it feeling frustrating. Looks and sounds insane too. Very underrated.
