Last year I believe the Rare account also threw shade with a Sea of Thieves twit. The Flight Simulator and Asobo teams can also feel aggrieved, given how much free content has been developed for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 in the last four years since the launch of the game.

DSouls and ER are too big to be ps exclusive, doing that will make them lose money

Thereās more to lose than anything if going exclusive. Spike is only ābigā when associate with DB and Bamco got them. Losing that will make them lose millions. They can kiss PC gamers goodbye the moment they request PSN account.
I assume that for Sony this move is especially for anime, getting From is nice of course too, but itās not solely for that, obviously.
Let exclusives become a thing of the past, slowly but surely.
Definitely more on that. It doesnāt help that Netflix is actually competing them in that front and actually doing good at it. I believe Disney+ is trying next, staring next year. Itās going to be hectic.

I just realised one thing that makes the whole Elden Ring DLC being GOTY even more absurd.
You canāt play it without having ER, if it had been a stand alone, not needing a copy of ER one could argue itās a game.

I canāt speak until I play it myself but I canāt help but think something odd about Wu Kong being inducted over Like a Dragon or even Persona 3 Reload or since indie can get in, Neva, and so on.

Sony attempting to buy froms parent company would be amazing. A pro US FTC will absolutely push to block it, and the discovery of all Sonys anti Xbox deals will absolutely paint them in a terribly anti consumer and anti competition light which may weāll see them under pressure from the CMA and EU as well.

Thatās what Iām afraid of too. I mean even though Xbox is not saying right now all their games will be day and date on other platforms, they did say thereās no red line. And Sony at some point might follow suit too, but we arenāt there yet by any means.
Can definitely see Sony locking them down for at least a year or two to strengthen their first party offerings. Hopefully From (or Kadokawa I guess) wonāt agree to a deal unless itās like Bungie.
I canāt imagine Bandai being too happy about this.
Deal definitely wouldnāt get blocked for gaming reasons, might get some attention due to anime since I know that even came up with their previous acquisitions.
