Iâm currently playing AW2. I donât know how it was before expansions/DLC, but itâs pretty neat how it is incorporated within the game like asking a character about what happened and it will trigger the expansion while youâre still in the main story. Thatâs pretty neat.
Also, maybe my memory is foggy at this time, but also really cool to see characterâs emote like a cutscene when youâre simply just interacting real time. Usually, they have no emotion or just move their mouth, but here, they have real time expression depending on the subject. Details come a long way.

I loved Max Payne but despite buying it at release never really started Alan Wake as thought it probably more horror which Iâve never really been into.
I mostly know the story at least, but do I need to have really played the first game to play the sequel, do you know?
Waiting for the next sale then tempted to pick it up, but got such a backlog at the moment that I donât really have time to do the original first lol
