Not gonna lie. I never liked Tommy. Always the worst part of this show. Funny how recent news about him pretty much justifies me disliking him that much more.

Pretty sure the Amico thing was a scam from the start. The man is a pathological liar .

Grew up with that show and ā€œReviews on the Runā€ on sick days.

But he made the music for Cool Spot soā€¦

Jk yeah just saw him as highly opinionated and though abrasive I agreed with some of his perspectives (like Metroid Prime controlling horribly lol) but as I will Watch some of these classic episodes as they roll out, Iā€™m probably going to see what you saw the whole time and that I was blind to.

Still no Nioh

Yeah Victor even if I didnā€™t agree with him seem to give well thought out opinions on games, whereas Tommy had some extremely silly hot takes about certain games that made me roll my eyes.

I assume, re the Tommy Tallirico stuff, youā€™ve all watched the Hbomberguy video where it turns out he basically has done nothing of what he says he has, right?

Honestly, the later parts of that video regarding his lies is hilarious

Hopefully the base building aspect is optional or you can just pick the defaults or something. That kind of thing does not appeal to me. Game sounds awesome otherwise.

"Taking a full year off could allow Sonyā€™s first-party studios to leverage the consoleā€™s hardware to make games that are not just impressive, but definitive of this console generation. Sony is developing a number of new technologies, which could also help fulfill the promise of a generational leap in 2025, as studios could integrate this new tech for the purpose of making inventive, boundary-pushing software.

If Sonyā€™s 2025 first-party games serve as real turning points for the PS5 in terms of fidelity, performance, or some other major features, they could reinvigorate the faith that some console owners lost following Totokiā€™s comments. Basically, it would make the companyā€™s lack of first-party games in this fiscal year seem reasonable and in the service of a greater end, rather than disappointing. Moreover, it would help the ā€œlatter stageā€ pill go down easier, as it would prove that the PS5 has made meaningful, generational advancements, which many argue it hasnā€™t yet."

Talk about damage control! the PS fanboys are still waiting for that Magical SSD (made of hopes and dreams!) to show itā€™s true potential I guess.

I think most Canadians gamers grew up with this show. Victor is the man, and his show gave many Canadians a start. LIke Jade Raymond, Geoff Keighley, and even had Evangeline Lilly was on the show before becoming a big actor.

Wow, so @Joe_Sinister1 wasnā€™t overstating things when they said that Tommy was a pathological liar. Some of the lies weā€™re clear to me after the Amico debacle but I thought those were lies to get funding. Tommy pretty much lies about everything and has been doing it for decades.

And yet people want to deny the crystal clear bias.

Man, Xbox releases only a few games in a year and people say thereā€™s a draught and that MS mismanages their studios. Sony has ZERO releases and now itā€™s a blessing in disguise and itā€™s because they give their studio time with some magical sauce thatā€™ll make their games look more next gen than anything else on the market.

We need something to regulate the media to be honest, I feel like Iā€™m living in a nightmare sometimes when I read shit like this. This isnā€™t games journalism, this is quite literally paid propaganda and yet, some will defend this.

The sadest part about that Sony Protectionist media piece is theyā€™re putting their hopes on a thing thats in the area of creating your personal avatars. That is copium by the metric truckloads.

A recent patent filed by Sony indicates that the company is developing a new way for players to create virtual avatars. This new technology could facilitate the in-depth customization of in-game characters, though itā€™s not clear which of Sonyā€™s upcoming gaming endeavors this could be connected to.
