I forgot the show is on. No story behind the decision for T4B?
During the 2000s there was a gaming TV show called Electric Playground filmed here in Canada featuring Victor Lucas and Tommy Talerico. It was pretty big here and I think it was aired in the US as well.
Anyways the University of Toronto digitized all of their shows and they Are releasing them weekly on the Electronic Playground YouTube channel.
Unlike other gaming shows it looked at the industry in a more respectful fashion and gave people a peek into game development alongside the news and all of that stuff.
This stuff is an incredible time capsule if you’re interested in gaming history.

I’m guessing people in the UK and around the world aren’t very familiar with it but I would think that a lot of older North American gamers are familiar with me this show, right?
I’m sure Victor Lucas wouldn’t mind showing up on the Xbox Era podcast either to promote this. He recently held a small round table with some of his former EP members discussing the situation at Microsoft and it was great.

Jez is like this. Something new or unexpected happens, his thing is to say he wouldn’t be surprised if that thing happens again and happens more. Well, it’s not just Jez’s thing, it’s a lot of people’s thing in that space.

I remembered how much I like Portal 2 and now I’m in the mood for first person puzzlers, anyone got recommendations for great ones in that genre
Yeah this sounds a lot like a repeat of his initial comments during the Hi Fi Rush rumours, I wouldn’t give it much thought.
That said, I do think this will potentially be a reality of publisher acquisitions. Microsoft was pretty careful when picking up individual studios to find teams that would fit with their vision and who wanted to be a part of Xbox, but you can’t really do that quite so well with a whole publisher. There’s probably gonna be the occasional team that simply doesn’t want to be under Xbox. Though I think this won’t happen too often and will likely be more the smaller teams.
I’m only kidding. The idea is anything Tom report dies. I mean I hope not but yeah. Still hurts though.
It’s just speculation. Could it happen? Maybe. It’s very easy to say since the iron is still hot to strike. Nothing is guaranteed.

Anything can happen, but I hope this one will be fine. The changes sound very exciting to me.
Escape Academy (personal fave), Superliminal, Myst, Call of the Sea and Maquette are all great fun, and most are on Game Pass.
Return to Grace is a decent recent one too.
I’ve a few other favourites but they’re probably more narrative than puzzle, like Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, What Remains of Edith Finch and Firewatch

I’m not about mobile games at all, but just now before watching something on Netflix I saw a game called Rainbow Six : Smol.
It’s way more fun than I expected it to be!

i would be surprised. jez is speculating and he is usually very bad with speculation about business stuff and tech.
talos principle, talos principle 2, the witness, qube 2, turing test, return of the obra dinn are the top of my head for first person puzzle games.

He’s working for Intelevision on the Amiico console and it’s not going well 
My lack of discipline took me down a 5-hour YouTube rabbit hole behind what was going on with that machine and Tommy. I do not suggest the same for others. 
In short: the project is a mess, the attempt at using social media influencers backfired, and Tommy started doing some questionable things to the point where it began to tarnish his storied and illustrious career (which I still respect in that regard).

Just beat Ender Lilies, Pretty good and looks good on an oled. I think if you like those typs of games you will like this. 7/10 good
