The game is $60 on xbox and switch, wtf?

and yeah, they were bought by Kadowaka I think

It looked bleak a year ago. They’re late to the realization.

It’s a shame. It’s the same as with Vita. That thing had so much potential, but with the exception of a few games there just wasn’t enough.

Strange to dismiss PS4 over here but a-okay for Switch.

For games like that and other turbo niche JP games I think the audience has largely bounced off PS in favor of Switch/PC.

I’d say the only reason the one that is coming to Xbox is happening because it is on Unity and makes it a simple porting process. (And even there it took ID@Xbox for it to happen)

Such a pointless comparison when ps streaming is locked to 1 box

Would absolutely LOVE ps streaming to come to tablets and PC. But no. Useless

If you ask me, a game/franchise skipping an established platform is more “gasp” news than skipping a platform that has yet to step on if not for a long time.

Xbox streaming also gets super busy.

My experience with it has been from can’t tell the difference between it and local play in Yakuza 4 when not busy, litterally unplayable when busy.

Nah, Vita failed because Sony completely abandoned it, it was a great device, with good hardware for a decent price and had decent support, at least from the Japan side, it failed because Sony did everything in their power to bury it

VR2 was never going to take of whether it’s the price, VR still being niche among gamers, nowhere near the amount of support needed from first or third party and it being stuck on a closed platform, it never stood a chance

Yeah, that’s a better way to put it. They abandoned it. I just don’t get it though, it started off nicely with a decent enough launch lineup of games. PSP did great, didn’t it? What made Sony decide Vita wasn’t worth it and just like you said wanting to bury it?

Sony has this sink or swim first impression with their devices. PS is their crown jewel; the rest is experimental. If Vita flops at start, time to delete. If PSVR2 flopping, time to step away. I told myself and here that they have a knack of that and they still did it. The more the time change, the more they stay the same.

what Jez said on Xbox Two about possibly other studios at xbox going independent. I wouldnt be surprised

He said that was pure speculation, throwing out quotes like this without proper context needs to stop please.
