It could be a different reporter. That or forget and let this year’s atmosphere takes them.
Quick question, do you guys consider Game Pass games as backlog games?
- Yes
- No
I’d say that the list of games that I intend to play and have access to are my backlog. Don’t see any functional reason to differentiate between purchase, free, subscription, borrowed, or rental.
Same as me really. I only consider a GP game a backlog one if I really want to play it.
I ve read some people online saying they feel anxious with GP because they see all games on the service as backlog ones.
Nah. No way I could, my backlog would be 600 games and I’d cry.
I don’t even consider all of the games I own part of my backlog haha
Mine is like 800 and growing. But I’m also chill about that and don’t really feel any need to shrink it.
I do make a list of some of the games I want to play before they’re out of the service so personally I do consider them somewhat as part of my backlog. I also barely buy games anymore so Gamepass is my main access to games.
It’s Hazzador not reading the article properly, and making conclusions that aren’t in the article. And then spreading untruths.
That sucks.
Pretty much as we’ve suspected all along. Sucks, but another factor perhaps equally important, is that the DLC for GTA IV didn’t sell too hot:

Such a damned shame. Both were fantastic but I especially loved The Ballad of Gay Tony which was the second one.
Had GTA V had DLC for sure RDR2 would’ve had too. I’d like to imagine what they could have done, it’s a lot. Damn it. I really, really dislike GTAO.
Cant even blame them really
Why put a ton of resources into single player dlc when you can make so much more from online
It sucks, but business wise they made the best choice. I would’ve preferred story DLC, but GTA Online became it’s own entity and took the franchise to new heights
Yep, I was really annoyed about this when these stories started kind of leaking years and years ago about single player dlc turning into online content instead, at least that’s what was heavily rumored
But now, I look at it from a business perspective and as disappointing as it is, the market is deciding things for them
