Finished Elden Ring DLC, it’s just more Elden Ring but purely based on lore, vibes, aesthetic this seems like the stuff that wasn’t memorable enough to make it into the base game.

Yasuke has been present in other games, always as a warrior and/or samurai, he’s been in children’s books, there’s even an anime about him. This is all fine. But Ubi makes him one of the protagonists in their new game and that’s a bridge too far? I do not get it at all.

Yeah it’s all weebs. As you already stated Yasuke has been in other games, but he’s also been in anime, Manga and historical movies and series about Nobunaga. They just see him as another historical figure and that’s about it.

None of those should be “new”, it’s just people thinking they are but the games weren’t completely delisted as in if you owned it you couldn’t play it. If you owned it you can download it and until that’s gone they keep the store page up.
The Transformers games should be part of the ABK games to get added to GP, right? Back on 360 we bought that game. But that was a hard copy. Would be great to get them again. But they are licensed, so perhaps not?

AFAIK, They no longer have the license to use the Transformers IP to sell the games they already made. It is why they are delisted now. They would have to pay sums of money for the license to be able to resell or put them on gamepass. They may be able to make the games BC but that only benefits those who already bought them before.

My daughter’s were so excited for this film, having a female superhero movie is really important for young girls and they absolutely s**t the bed.
Even Sydney Sweeney was mocking the film let alone the Internet memes.
Feels like PS2 era with all these anime games coming through. I remember Naruto and DBZ kept spitting new title like CoD and sports annual releases. It was nuts.
I just wish they weren’t all Arena fighters. They look great graphically but the Arena fighter thing just doesn’t do it for me. I am dying for a Chainsaw Man game but they would probably make that an arena fighter as well.
Shame for no handheld games anymore (Switch doesn’t count). They sometime go hard on it to the point they’re better than console.
I remember when GBA had Shaman King metroidvania and Shaman king Shin Megami Tensei/Pokemon , but there were also Shaman King fighters on PS2. Now with game dev times expanding, making a fighter - if its applicable to franchise - is probably the quickest way to get a game out while the franchise is still hot. I can only think of AOT, Captain Tsubasa and Doraemon as Anime-licensed games that are not fighters (and those wouldn’t really work as fighters anyway).
EDIT: There are also DBZ Kakarot, and few One Piece games that aren’t fighters. PS4 had also Warriors Berserk game, not on Xbox. Arslan is also Warriors, but is on Xbox, I have it physical. So far those are all I remembered.
