This may actually be a sports game I would be willing to play that’s not a racing game, since the snes.

I agree with everything you said. Nintendo is on fire and have been since Switch launched in 2017. Since I only completed 10 Nintendo published games between Nintendo 64 to present day, it’s safe to say that im not the biggest Nintendo guy whatsoever but Metroid Prime 4 looks great and if Nintendo can nail a few things like backwards compatibility while giving Switch 1 games a boost due to the better hardware, it will be really difficult to pass it up.

I do understand why Nintendo didn’t really talk or show anything regarding Switch 2. My belief is that they will have a Direct in late January and release the Switch 2 (or whatever they end up calling it) in March. No reason to change what worked great with the first Switch.

I also think Nintendo wants to have a good amount of games being shown for the entire launch year of Switch 2. The original Switch had BOTW at launch and Super Mario Odyssey eight months later. Can’t do much if any better than that in your launch year of a new console.

Definitely looking forward to seeing what Switch 2 is. Just hoping that it’s close to an Xbox Series S specification wise. If it is, I will be very pleased.

Spectrum is the worst. I was moving apartments and set a date for cancellation. They cancelled the service early prior to the date provided. I then had to fight with customer support to not be charged reactivation fees for the last month.

They also upped my rate which was on some government benefit plan, which took it from $25 a month to $85 a month. I was then promised credit to reduce the cost which was never applied. I then had to call an additional x3 because each instance they told me my service was cancelled, it wasn’t.

FUCK Spectrum. Never again.

I’m always staggered at how patchy consumer protection is in the USA.

Even here in the UK, the most similar to the US in Europe, we’ve got pretty strong consumer laws and regulator requirements / processes companies have to follow.

For example there’s specific steps companies have to follow in disconnecting or changing your supplier for internet, banking, power, TV and gas.

And if you’re unhappy you can complain to the regulator (in this case it would be Ofcom) who aren’t perfect and could have more teeth but generally pretty fair…

Strangely, he’s not wrong. If it was announced yesterday, it would have helped the show. Instead of “Oh they’re making a remake for DQ! That’s cool!” I got “Oh they have a new trailer.”

It makes me wonder if they had to staff up for the remake? We already know a lot of games get announced early to advertise staffing.

Do we actually know that, or more like “know” that? I ask because it sounds like one of those made up facts that podcasters use. Have we seen someone truly in the know make that statement? Someone speaking in an official capacity for a dev or a publisher, I mean.

Some of the comments give me FF being exclusive flashback. Probably sending pizza to Capcom.

Man. Do, this guys love their click baits. I don’t know who was even asking for this and I doubt it would sell. Now if they give me the Arcade X-men that would be nice.

On the one hand, I hate Jason yucking our yum. But on the other, I don’t think it’s unfair to question how MS will treat the studios of the games we saw. They walked right into that criticism and deserve every bit of it.

I get it but felt like an agenda due to timing. It’s like saying 9/11 happened after I yelled out I won the lottery. Don’t break my…just don’t break the mood.

If actually completing games were the bar for not being mediocre, I’d rarely enjoy games. :joy:

This is the most wild response I could have ever imagined. Lol

I am all for criticizing MS but I want them to keep that energy for everyone because it’s not just MS doing it, but Jason is nothing if not extremely disingenous.

I have seen worse and quite honestly, this line is quoted because my point is, people tends to break mood to bring down to sad mood because of reason. I would argue some of journalists/influencers want to influence (hehe…) everyone to believe Nintendo saved E3 and everything else is wrong. Polls said otherwise, so we’re not in Kansas anymore.

Luckily, I don’t do receipts on these though I remember plenty on top of my head.

Yeah… except that isn’t the problem, and taking it out of the context of “this is happening across the industry but a certain market leader has constantly avoided any semblance of the same accountability/narratives, while hyper-focusing on a singulars entity” makes your statement incredibly disingenuous.
