Thanks, Nintendo.
This looks great!
I do wish theyâd make a Steamworld Dig 3. Loved the first and second ones.
More like:
Isnât Contraband a MS IP though? correct me if I am wrong but besides Nioh 1/2 and RotR I canât remember any other examples of Sony published games that actually stayed exclusive on the PS5 (at least on consoles) with Sony not owning the IP too.
Maybe itâs a unique deal between the two companies (like I said because of the marketing e.t.c.) but I doubt that Sony funded the game and let KT keep the IP, Sony seems to be quite consistent on this since at least the PS4 era.
Hayashi was pro-Sony since the Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 days, maybe that was also a way to be more antagonistic to Itagaki back then. When Itagaki left there were also a lot of important people that left with him and created Valhalla, too bad this studio didnât deliver.
But yeah I believe that the Team Ninja of NGB, NG2 and DoA 2/3/4 is long gone, thatâs why I am not optimistic about a new Ninja Gaiden game from todayâs TN.
This.
Huge difference between a publisher like Square Enix taking a payday for exclusivity and Sony actually funding a game from beginning to end like they did with Rise of the Ronin which is no different than Microsoft funding Contraband, Gears Tactics and others.
Yes!

My monopoly radar is going off.
Thatâs unfortunate because Netflixâs animation adaptations are actually so good.
They could have gotten Fallout boomâŚ
Doesnât really need it but it couldnât hurt for the IP.
I wouldnât say it doesnât need it or even mandatory but it would be helpful, especially on the count of PS not being pleased on their purchase so far. Plus, imagine the series arrived around the next expansion release. That would have helped. It is what it is.
While Destiny isnât a game I enjoy, this would have been some great synergy as it could have been announced by now.
Xbox would be incredibly stupid to make the Next Fallout game multiplatform, if they have any desire left for people to invest in its ecosystem.
Have you paid zero attention to the industry and where itâs going?
Something to worry about in 2033
2035
I see people that still stuck in their old ways. This industry is going to change a lot by the time the next fallout comes out and as much as the things we want Microsoft to do to happen, itâs not and itâll probably be better off not doing that if they let fallout be multi-platform. Hey, it is what it is but things are changing and we have to accept that
My exact thoughts.
