I think that’s a good thing as it feels the more business forward approach. Since Xbox gets to market the game and have it on game pass with a chance to keep subs or get new subs.
The studio gets an infusion of cash from Microsoft and Sony which could cover the cost of development.
Is there a way to fully disable screen dimming on Xbox? I ask this because I want to earn a ton of money in NNK2 for the Kingdom while I’m away with the dog. So I just have my guy sit outside the castle while the money comes in, but after an hour the screen dims as per Xbox and this also makes the game pause.
You gotta laugh…Xbox situation is so dire in Japan that the version of Metaphor: ReFantazio playtesters are playing made it into the top 40 most played games fucking lmao
Compared to what Immortals of Avenum had to sacrifice in order to hit 60, I’m fine with it. It also isn’t the kind of game that requires 60, I played the first one at 30 and it felt fine.
Is there gonna be a performance mode for Hellblade 2, or is it just 30 FPS ? Either way, I’m not bothered by that, especially in a cinematic game. I feel that 30 FPS is going to be present in many more games moving forward.
So finally decided to try out diablo IV on pc since its on game pass.
I hate additional launchers… but for quick turnaround i understand why battle.net is still required.
HOWEVER, the fact that due to the quick implementation you now get a pop up saying you cant close battle.net unless the xbox app is also closed is a wildly stupid compromise that I hope that gets fixed. I could understand forcing b.net to be running when im playing diablo IV but now… i have to leave it running in the background unless i close the xbox app close battle.net then launch the xbox app again to launch a different game is so sillly to me.
The other thing to consider is that if it does end up being a Day One on Game Pass game (which it probably won’t be) it wouldn’t have been announced at thi drop, but would be the one in a few weeks time (if it wa going to be a deal or whatever).
Max I can set it to is 60 minutes, but not fully off. Damn, they should provide such an option. I mean i put my TV on a screensaver when I do these things. Ah well.
