“Thanks, Tom.”
Probably when SE get the time and money to port to xbox.
If youre gonna buy ff16 for ps5…wait until pc version. If you cant…wait until the game is on PS plus or 20 bucks or less
I dont buy this exclusiivty bullshit.
Money talks and SE wont leave money on the table.
No PC for me
Won’t get a PS5 until the rumored Pro comes out, might not even be on day one either. Ideally they announce 16 for Xbox this summer and releasing soon after, I’d get it. But that would be full price, sounds like you don’t think it’s worth that?
Its not that…but game is nearly 9 months old…it will get some sale when DLC comes out.
My guess is Xbox version gets announced at the summer showcase with a autumn or fall release
Ive only played the demo and then bits of it on my cousins ps5 though ive beaten a large chunk of the games bosses. I was always going to wait for pc version and play on ROG ally. Or xbox version if its announced. Which i beleive it will for a full playthrough.

Not going to lie, thought they would charge new game price or even half of it.
This1000000 times over.

It’s nice seeing the Dungeon Fighter franchise come back to Xbox in the form of The First Berserker Kazan. Hopefully they finally port DNF Duel at some point. Since according to some "fighting games should be everywhere " ( or at least that’s what they say when it comes to KI, go figure) then so should that game.
If they want to bring life to the game once more, sure.
The moneyhat must have been pretty strong.

If it ends up being Elden Ring of 2024, I’m going to need more Horizon for every year.
Square has been hilariously poorly run. Here is the silly old leadership way of doing business…
Step 1: Make game for PlayStation by default.
Step 2: Contact Sony for a money hat exclusive. If step 2 fails, enter step 3
Step 3: Contact Xbox for an extortion “Xbox tax” and if Xbox fails to pay then no game for Xbox.
In any scenario PlayStation wins and Xbox loses… and in most cases Square loses too
wow the more i play of pentiment the more I Understand why ign gave it a 10. Obsidian doesnt miss
Jamie Moran on Twitter said the Stalker trilogy will receive a next gen update later this year? I might go for it then. I’ll wait. Too bad it didn’t launch that way.
Pentiment is such a great game, loved it so much.
Also yesterday I finally checked out some of the previews for Dragon’s Dogma 2 and the game sounds amazing, Itsuno’s high fantasy simulator here I come!
Like 4K/60 FPS? Hopefully it will be out before 2. I can wait for now since I got backlog to clear. Still, pretty cool for a shadowdrop collection.
Found the tweet:
Yes, this is from the Xbox wire article:
"Xbox One players will finally be able to dive into the franchise, and those on Xbox Series X|S can enjoy the game in a high-fidelity mode via backward compatibility. Later this year, the team will release a patch for Xbox Series X|S version that will bring additional graphical enhancements and other features. The console versions will also have mod support via mod.io, but this too will be a feature to roll out later as the team continues to tweak things a bit, so keep an eye on GSC’s social media channels on when these features will roll out. "
$40 is multiple people though, no?
I think comparing it to a movie is bad because most people already think the cinema/theatre is overpriced and it doesn’t really equate.
My local cinema is £10/$13 for an adult ticket. When I buy a game like Gotham Knights (which I also purchased) I didn’t buy 4 copies of it for me and my friends.
Take Suicide Squad it’s currently £69.99 for me via the Xbox store which is $89.
For that same price I could go to the cinema 7 times (2-3 hours each time), sit in a air controlled room in a comfy chair and with a fantastic screen/speaker setup with employees manning each element to ensure everything is ok. In addition I don’t have to supply anything or pay for heating/cooling/electric etc.
With a game that’s all they supply, you have to provide your console/PC, TV, speakers, sofa, heating, electric and if anything goes wrong you have to sort it yourself but your already paying 7x as much.
Yes some games can be quite long but these are usually either procedurally generated side missions or repeatable/almost identical side missions, not hand crafted content like a movie. Then there’s many games where you would be lucky to get 10-15 hours for the same price.
This is not even discussing full price multiplayer games like COD/Battlefield (which personally bore me to death) which could be played indefinitely but is just repeating the same thing over and over.
I just don’t think anyone should be campaigning for higher game prices when IMO they are already too high.
