I didnāt read any articles about it, only saw the tweets. But Jeff Grubb has said Sony was the one that wanted out of the deal for KOTOR, while Lucas still wants it to happen.
Matty hopes Xbox wants in, since Xbox likes to clean up messes. Also the fact that it was said the game especially needed time and resources, something Xbox has proven with Starfield that they are more than willing to do. But that would mean Aspyr still gets to make it. Yeah I donāt know about that. Personally I say nah thanks!
I want to know what Sony saw that made them āweāre outā with this remake, lol.
Came across this trailer in my recommended section on YouTube. Four months old but I donāt recall this. Absolutely some real Forgotten Anne (great game) vibes but obviously Pentiment too. Which I enjoyed a whole lot.
they would have to submit a different sku just to get it on disk which would have a different build just to get it all on disc
tinfoil hat says this is a middle finger from CDPR to Sony because that old āpulling the game from storeā drama.
I see. Here I thought the discussion went like:
Sony: Hey buddy. I see that our version wonāt have a disc. Why is thatā¦
CD: Want to know why? Because the game. Was delisted. Beforeā¦
speaking of that does Xbox still not support the 100GB BR discs? I thought they did with the SX?!
Nah, the only people that this might annoy is playstation physical customers, doesnāt effect PS in the least
No way I would want Microsoft to put resources into the game unless Obsidian or one of MS other studios want to make KOTOR 3 or a Star Wars RPG.
Imo, if Xbox steps in they would have to take the production in house with Aspyr as a support studio.
That way Embracer would still have an involvement, but the game would get a more experienced team on the helm. The question is if anyone at Xbox is willing to do it or has a team thatās not busy with something else.
It really is very impressive how good this still looks. Now itās not the 360 version, but even so. And it still looks like a fun time too. If this was enhanced for the 360 game Iād get it. Because Iām not sure I ever finished it. Not sure I even bought it back then, probably just played a demo at the store is what I remember.
As someone who doesnāt care whatsoever about Star Wars, I donāt want any of Xbox first party being wasted on that
Itās backwards compatible and I think itās enhanced, not sure.
Doesnāt seem like it if we go by this. Also, I canāt see the price, it says not sold separately.
Yeah, itās not sold anymore, only if you get a disc.
