Where? I only see Xbox repost. Doesnt mean nothing athough

All this discussion about AC has got me itching to go back and revisit one of the least talked about game in the franchise âSyndicateâ. I enjoyed this game quiet a lot back in the day and I liked the main protagonists too.
I am going to try and replay this at some point
not that it was expected but donât expect any major acquisitions from Sony

Good news I guess
Not necessarily good news I would say. Will they just cancel these games, start from scratch or try to salvage them into single-player experiences ? One thing for sure, they are lacking a true vision and direction.
Definitely not good news considering a bunch of people are gonna lose their jobs from those cancelled projects. But console warriors will rejoice, even though Sony basically has no direction and is literally lacking leadership.
Most of the people I see cheering for these live service games to fail are PlayStation fans, they donât realize that without these titles Sony will struggle in the future
Yeah, good point.
I guess in one way itâs good news that the focus wonât be on that big amount of GaaS for a long time, but the layoffs are never a good thing. Yeah PS definitely isnât in a super great position now when it comes to vision and direction, indeed. Sales wise they might be doing fine, but hopefully the one taking over from Jimbo will turn things around for the better.
It is gonna be hard, GaaS games were supposed to bring more profits to Sony. Doing more single-player only games is not gonna cut it. Also, Bungie were supposed to bring that expertise but they are mismanaging their own franchise. For the sake of competition, I hope they will do better, but they will need to expand their own ecosystem the way Microsoft does.
Kinda crazy, here I thought Sony just wanted a piece of the GaaS pie, not because they needed it that super bad. I always thought their games did very well, that PS in general did very well. But itâs actually more of a real necessity for them? Damn.
If you look at their profit margins they are very low, their single player games just donât make enough money and they spend so much on them hence the pivot to GAAS so they can increase their profit margins and have a healthier business.
Side note: it doesnât look like the market is reacting well to Sonyâs overall results their stocks are down despite PlayStation performing well
Actually, the only good news is less pressure. The actual news is the 6 games that were subtracted is more of delay than cancellation.
Both good, but the poison darts and poison when using hunter bow in Origins felt amazing. Hitting someone in the middle of a camp and watching everyone else in the area get infected with it was rewarding. Would have liked it if the sections where you played as Aya didnât feel a bit nerfed, her abilities felt limited.
Kassandraâs story (and game) was great too though, but as I think Iâve said, as someone who plays those games as a stealth experience, the battles didnât fit into my idea of an assassin game. You could probably make similar arguments about raids and assaults in Valhalla. Everything else was great though.
Agree with you. Its good that they are taking their time with them otherwise I would be very concern for PS future if they decide to abandon their GAAS initiative without even giving it a chance and lets not forget their mobile intiative is 0 and they are failing on the PC side.
InterestingâŚ
CoD Vault Edition is at #3 in top paid games. Folks really want to play it early.
AW2 is at #7. Great stuff.
Robocop is at #8. Not only Xbox was smart to advertise it in the preview event, but word of mouth is helping. Iâm seriously attempted to buy this one.
Five Nights is at #6. The movie effect is strong.
It would have been so amazing if Rockstar had done a Fallout 4. Announce it and then six months later we play it. But alas.
Anyone think they will actually release it for last gen too?
